Administration is very unorganized from time to time, and as well as has more focus on sports than our education at times. But they take things like threats very seriously to insure students safety. As well as shown to want to take constructive criticism from students and parents alike to better the school. They also push for personalized learning and individual growth! As well as provide us with so many resources and opportunities to succeed in the future!
Rio Rico is beyond amazing! Very inclusive and aware of their students. The school pride is visible and continuous, the experiences I've been through at this school have been truly wonderful and memorable, I would not trade my high school for anything. There are times where the school could be more communicative; however, most of the time they are. This school is in process of adding new classrooms and resource facilities which is something exciting to look forward to.
Very enjoyable and definitely fun! Teachers were always available to students that were in need of that extra help. The environment was always an environment in which I found comfort and felt safe. I can say that in certain programs like in my case band, we felt like a family and it was a safe space for a lot of kids, including myself, and although I never participated in sports or theatre or other clubs, I'm sure the same applies. We got a new principal about half way through my high school years and he definitely did so much for us, something that I'm personally very grateful for. It's very nice to have someone who goes the extra mile to make sure that students get the most out of their high school experience. The one thing that comes to mind when I think of "change" or something that I would change is the school food mainly, but that's something very general that people always complain about. Overall, it's been a good experience!
