I have been going to this school since my freshman year. Entering into this school I was sort of intimidated but the teachers and atmosphere at RHS helped me get over that. The teachers are the best part of RHS. Sure, there are occasional bad ones, but most of them genuinely care about their students and about teaching. They have a passion for it, and take extra time to make sure we understand concepts and that we enjoy learning. The school itself is also very nice and updated, the cafeteria food is good, sports games are always fun. There are rarely any fights of huge scandals within the student body. There is a variety of clubs to join as well!

Some aspects that I enjoyed at Ridgewood High School are the friendly classmates and the willingness of the teachers to help their students. However, I wish that the school could be a bit more diverse because it is possible to feel alienated when the large population of Europeans stick together. Many of the ethnic groups stay within their own cliques and it is harder to become friends with people who constantly speak in a language that some are not able to understand. I wish there were more clubs that highlighted different cultures so students may connect with peers that share similar hobbies and interests.
I feel Ridgewood is an overall good High school, personally leaving Ridgewood and attending a 4 year university I felt so prepared. Ridgewood has really good academics and teachers who are willing to help students in any way possible. I had a really good experience at Ridgewood the teachers always ready to help, I felt really safe and it's a small school is you get more one on one help. Due to the fact the school is so small there isn't much diversity but they do have really good sports and clubs for how small of a school they are.
