Ridgevue High School Reviews
Rating 3.86 out of 5 51 reviews
Ridgevue is pretty serious about making sure every student gets as many academic opportunities as they can! They offer very many dual credit classes, which has helped so much! There is however not very many class options. You have a very limited selection of classes to take. Overall, the school is fairly decent high school, just with limited opportunities other than dual credit.
The sole values of Ridgevue are apparent, striving for success with each student. Having high academic expectations, with a lot of students exceeding them. School work has never been necessarily overly difficult, but dealing with the overbearing rules and limitations they set not just over the students individually but over the student body as a whole. The admin has earned a reputation for not allowing various activities suggested by some of our best students in their leadership class, who are responsible for planning and executing any school activity. Adults reminiscing on their high school years recall the excitement and community they were a part of at the time, and yet I can remember no such time when everyone could truly come together and be proud of this school. What is there to be proud of when you are constantly ashamed?
My experience with Ridgevue has been very good! Despite Covid happening my freshman year, Ridgevue has still provided me an amazing education. All of the staff here truly wants to see you at your best, and keep up the hard work. The community and environment is very clean here. I hope to see Ridgevue continue to be the best!
