I would not trade this school for the world! Everyone has a kind heart and shows lots of passion for everything they do! The administration is very cooperative. The diversity at the school is also something that catches attention. Good in all areas, Ridge View High School has benefited kids in sports, careers, and etc. With over multiple players of college acceptances and over 3 programs/ magnets within the school. I would definitely say that Ridge View High School is an amazing school.
It's a great school so far. If you're interested in law, this would be a great High School for you to attend. The teachers are wonderful when it comes to you paying attention in class and turning in assignments. The programs they have for students are average. There is this one program that benefits kids that are chasing success wonderfully. The program is called AVID Early College. It allows students to graduate Highschool with their diploma, but also an Associate's Degree. This program is really hard tho. You have to put the work in if you want to complete this program. Grades must be above C average. You have to be involved with you community as well. The food is average just like any other highschool. Some teachers are fun, but then there's others who are boring. The school itself is set up nice, I like the colors. The administration is funny and they connect with the students. The care about the future of the kids that are attending the school. To be successful, you put work in!
During my time at Ridge View High School some days were good and other weren’t. Although I don’t believe it is really different from any other school in the district when it comes to things such as like violence between students and such. Some things that I did enjoy was being able to participate in the Medical Magnet program all four year I have been here. Another good thing about the school is the avid early college which graduates students with associates degrees. However, some things that I would like to see change is more preventative measures and compassion. Throughout my time here sometimes I see lots of lack in compassion for students and what they may be going through. I would also like to see more life brought to the school, sometimes it always like I’m surrounded by bricks, lockers, and uniform desks. I would have liked to be in an environment when seating was different, more plants, more light like windows, and more color.
