Ridge View is a wonderful school. Our magnet programs and schools-within-a-school truly help us students prepare for and achieve the future we want. Bio/Allied health students can become registered nurses (in school too!), doctors, and medical practicioners. Scholars students go on to become politicians, lawyers, and activists. School for the Arts shapes students into the photographers, artists, and designers they want to be. The CATE program turns out technological whizzes.

There are programs in RVHS that allow students to travel the world with their friends, teachers, and even family. I, myself, have gone with teachers and other students to London, Paris, and Normandy. This summer we’re going to Central America! Magnet programs allow students to travel within the US to see so many amazing Broadway shows, museums, and universities. Ridge View provides for its students the best it can and it truly does an amazing job at it.

I'm currently a senior at Ridge View High School and I've been attending here for the last 4 years and I can honestly say it's just been amazing. I have always had an amazing line-up of helping and caring teachers. The students are nice and friendly in class and helpful if your ever feeling behind. Also us Blazers are always having a great time at school events and showing school pride and spirit. It's sincerely been a blast but for everyone that hasn't ever been to Ridge View should definitely pay it a visit because you won't regret it!
I have attended Ridge View for 3 years now and I would not ever go back on my decision of attending. During middle school I was zoned for Ridge View but it had a bad reputation and people looked down on it. Ever since then I detested the idea of attending RV and was scared that I would not get the high school experience I always dreamed of. But after trying to choice for another school and getting shot down, I decided to finally give RV the shot it deserved. And I am glad I did, because I can say now that Ridge View has given me more than the high school experience I always dreamed of, it gave me a community that I connected with. It offered me the classes necessary to fuel my passion for filming and film editing. But above all, RV gave me the chance to meet and have memories that I will never forget. Opportunities that will never go unrecognized. I am so glad I gave it a try. I will always be a Blazer.
