I've only been here for a year, but I've already been given so many opportunities! Most teachers genuinely care about you and you learning, rather than just tests. Everyone is super invested in sports, and our band is successful as well.

My experience was okay. I made the mistake of not participating in any school activities which made it hard for me to become social and involved! Overall my time was well spent on grades and just trying to better myself for the future I want. The only issue I had was that it took until my senior year to actually figure out what I want to pursue for college! I didn’t know my school offered classes for it either!
When the bell rings at 7:45, students are ready to get work done. Everything goes according to schedule and laziness is not an excuse. The most important thing is that our teachers genuinely care about us. They constantly remind us about our futures. They teach us in a way that is not only hands-on but logical. Rider High School is a place where you just can't help but be happy. School spirit surrounds you, teachers are upbeat, and students are motivated. The staff is always finding new ways to get students involved and ready to learn. We have tons of school traditions like Mum day. As a minority, I have never felt any less than any other student. Students are always helping each other out and there is little to no judgement. Rider High School definitely lives up to it's motto, one family, one team.
