In all honesty I wasn't enthusiastic about coming to this school, but this school had a great positive impact on me. This school has tons of opportunity for the students to succeed. Especially the Leadership Program that has help shape me to be who I am today. But on the other hand this school does have a punitive system called the Are You Green System, that gives students so called detentions, and the students are not given the rightful opportunity to remove them. As the detentions don't allow student to participate in school activities, and so forth. Which leads to a decrease in school spirit, that discourages the students from wanting to go school, and to learn and strive. I suggest rewards system. That allows the students the opportunity to remove detentions as fast and easily as they get them.

Richmond Hill high school is a very good school if you want your child to come. We got off the bad list school and are officially a good school however the students is what makes the schools reputation. I am proud to say that I have attended this school for four years in a row and will be graduating in 2020. Their rules have been getting stricter every year and I wish they would excuse some. We have a “Are you Green” policy which keeps students in check and make sure they are doing good. If the students are not doing well they get detentions and they don’t get to attend certain events because teachers make sure you are green. Our principal Mr.Ganesh is very understanding and has helped the school a lot. For example, I am app art of student government which we call Leadership and we have a conference every month with the Principal which addresses issues within our school community.
When I was applying high school during my graduation year in middle school, I've actually gotten in a different school that is not RHHS. However, at that time, Me and my family already planned to move to Richmond Hill. Based on the travel distance between my new home and the school I've got in, my guidance suggest me to pick RHHS that was near my new home. Since RHHS were not on my High School application list, I was quite uncomfortable and thought that my high school life was ruined. However, time has proved my mistake. There is no bullying, no discrimination, I can get along with everyone around me. I can finish all my work on time, passed all the regents, and a 3.52 GPA that's unweighted throughout my school year. within couple week after I attend RHHS, I've already assimilate to this big family and be proud to be here.
