I like the level of experience that the teachers have and use for us students. But I think that our grading system is flawed. Standards-Based education is a flawed system that makes it so students who do everything perfectly, and on time, could have the same exact GPA as someone who does all of their work late, and at poor quality.

The teachers are amazing! They put up with so much from children (hopefully) growing into their maturity and they truly care about their students . They get to know each and every kid and engage with them rather than just lecturing and leaving. They are excellent support for all and they helped me so much!
Richmond may be a small school, but that is what keeps every student together. The teachers are wonderful and very helpful. My teachers make sure I'm on pace and understanding the new material. Every faculty member is concerned for all students. Every month Richmond High recognizes the small achievements that are made by a student. Richmond is just a caring and wonderful place to attend school and live.
