Richmond Community High School pushes you forward while preparing you for the best and worst of life. It’s truly a delight to be a Pharaoh (the mascot) because I’m able to empower and motivate others as much as this school has done for me. Giving and sharing my RCHS knowledge with others is something amazing that we all should do!
I liked the kindness of every student. Everyone seemed to get along, and there was minimal amounts of negative altercations. The teachers treat every student with the same amount of respect and offer help to all. However, the things I would change would be the cleanliness of the school. The boys bathroom is absolutely unacceptable, the aroma in the air of the bathroom is unbearable. No actions were taken to fix this problem.
I really liked that the teachers are there for their students no matter what they need. They did not just teach students things that will help them in college, they taught me along with many others skills that be used all throughout life. I loved that clubs and activities were always open to everyone. Richmond High School has a variety of clubs/sports/activities to do it makes it easy to get involved. One thing I suggest Richmond High School to change is the way they teach students how to write. Going into college I did not have the greatest understanding on how to write an APA or MLA paper. Overall I strongly recommend attending Richmond Community High School.
