It’s a great place to head-start you for your future. The school has great teachers that we put in effort to make sure you understand and are prepared for real life challenges.
Overall it has been a great experience. I've gotten to meet so many amazing people over the past 4 years. The faculty and staff do such an awesome job to make sure it stays a safe and clean environment.
I am currently a senior at Rhea County High School. Through out my years I’ve learned many new things that I’ve never knew. The teachers at Rhea County High School are amazing teachers that was always kind and generous when I needed help on a subject that I didn’t understand. Therefore, I really enjoyed being a student at Rhea County High School.
It's a great school, it always had a way to make me feel welcome and the teachers and staff are absolutely amazing!
Rheacounty highschool offers alot of excellent acidemic oportunities. You can graduate a certified welder and they have alot of other CTE programs. They havealot of other useful classes including crimainal justice, Heath science, art, and corus. The teachers at rheacounty highschool are very helpful and hardworking. They always help any struggling student if help is needed. THe guidence office is also wonderful. If there is any sort of problem the guidnece cousleors are great to talk to ; however, any trusted adult including the ,teachers, staff, and couselors are great to talk to. The sports programs at rheacounty are also very good. The only thing i would change about rheacounty Highschool would be the location itself. Other then that rheacounty HIghschool is an excelente school to atend.
I enjoy going to Rhea County High School. I started in my junior year and have made many friends. I am a cheerleader and I love it! I do feel like we need maybe another 15 minutes for lunch, since there are so many students it is hard to get food and have time to eat after having to wait in line.
I have gone to RCHS for the past 4 years. It has been quite the experience. It hasn't been terrible but it has definitely molded me to the person I am.
Overall, staff and administration was great. Everyone was always super friendly, and they would help you out anyway they can. They all worked as best as they could to give all students the best highschool experience they can have.
Rhea County High School has an excellent academic program. The high school has an expansive career and technical education program. This helps students prepare for their after school life. The school consular's help prepare you for college. The school has a great variety of clubs for the students to join. The teachers at Rhea County High School are helpful to students in their everyday lives.
Love my hometown and school! The school and facilities are amazing. There are opportunities in every area of activities for everyone. The teaching staff is amazing.
I’m 2 years removed and got my basic highschool education from here. For a smaller town, everyone was open minded to me and my traits. I flourished better here than I did my previous highschool.
RCHS offers many opportunities for students. Sports: football, baseball, softball, tennis, volleyball, basketball, bowling, fishing, golf, track and field to name some. They offer focuses in theater, art, music, sports and ROTC. They have short-term classes on various subjects to introduce students to a variety of career or extra-curricular opportunities - hunter safety, how to play guitar, cosmetology, Windows software, just to name a few. The teachers are respectful and model the behavior they expect to see in students. The teachers are sincerely concerned with the students' lives outside of school as well.
I’ve just completed my sophomore year at Rhea County High School, and it has been an enjoyable year. I love the teachers and how everyone is supportive. It would be difficult because it’s high school, but I would love to see less social cliques and more people socializing with others they normally wouldn’t associate with. Overall, RCHS is great to be a part of.
I have attended three other high schools and this school is not the greatest. The school provides little to no classes to push students to strive to work harder and achieve something greater. There are zero AP classes and very few honors classes. The teachers are okay, I think. I never hear about clubs or activities on the announcement or fliers or poster to join or be involved in an activity. The school culture for the south is typical. With the strict clothing policy, the diversity of the school is awful and people can not express themselves. For example, ripped jeans and sweatpants are not allowed by any means. ALSO ZERO SCHOOL SPIRIT. NO ASSEMBLIES. The BEST part of the school is the administration. They are helpful when for answering questions or fixing a mistake and I never have an issue with them. Now for the safety aspect, there are many students that walk around with pocket knives. The food is school food and is not bad at all. I have attended the school for one year.
I liked attending Rhea County High School. The teachers are friendly, the students are welcoming, the environment isn’t hostile or uncomfortable in any way. What I would like to see change is the teachers and administrations involvement in their students wellbeing.
Whenever I entered this school as a freshman it was different and exciting. I am delighted to say that feeling has never went away.
I transferred here my sophomore year, so I was a little concerned with how the transition would go. To my great appreciation the faculty, guidance councilors, and students made it a really smooth transfer. I highly recommend this school.
