At Restoration the teachers are always pushing me harder to reach more academic achievements. We do get a lot of work, but this also good since it taught me how to manage everything, while keeping good grades. The academics are great. I always feel like I am getting the best education I could be. I am certain that I will be ready for college. Something I would like see change is that the school is diversely toward African Americans.
Restoration has a family feel to it. You have your favorite and least favorite teachers and students, but in the end, we all come together. The teachers work really hard to make sure we have all the tools we need to succeed.
They are good at helping the students get into college and give good scholarship to every senior class over the past years.
Restoration Academy has provided me with a strong education and also a high sense of morale. My school has brought forth many valuable characteristics within me that will prepare me for life outside of the school setting. I greatly admire my school's faculty for their dedication shown towards my complete academic experience.
I have loved every minute at Restoration Academy. It is very small, so everyone knows each other, which I like a lot. I have become very close with my classmates over the years, and they are all close friends of mine. It also offers a lot of opportunities, including excellent college assistance and even scholarships. For the past ten years, every senior has been accepted to college.
Restoration Academy has impacted my life. You always have someone to talk to at the school. It may the counselor, custodian, or a caring teacher. Even if you do not get a chance to talk to an amazing facility or staff member, the students make you feel welcomed and wanted.
I love the small class sizes. It helps me focus better, and it gives the environment that the teachers actually care for you.
I started at Restoration Academy when I was five years old, and I been there my whole life. Restoration Academy has helped me grow academically and spiritually. I'm glad my mom put me in that school because I don't think other schools would take the time teaching us what we need to know, I'm so grateful for that school, and I'm happy I go there.
The health and safety of this school is great many resources to got to like the library, chapel, and health clinic.
I have truly enjoyed having my daughter at Restoration Academy. It has been such a great experience not only for my daughter but for myself as well. They are like family and you know that when you send your kid to school for 8hrs each day that they are in good hands. I would definitely choose this school again. Its structured and Christ Centered.
The teachers can come off as if they are new to what they do but then there are teachers that have been there for a while and they have that effect of showing confidence in teaching the class.
Overall the school had a good resource of all the following except buses. We did not have a bus that would take us to school or drop us off at home after school.
The school overall a safe environment. We have had drills in case of an offense that was to happen at the school. The doors would stay locked during school unless there was a donor day for the sponsors to visit and come through.
The school has sports for the students but it mainly revolved around the boys so there was not any sports for the girls, but track and basketball.
The school has a guidance counselor that they make sure the students can relate to her and feel confident that their private business will not be out for everyone to know.
We are pushed to do our best by the teachers, staff, and by our friends.
Our teachers do everything in our power for us.
