Reseda charter high is a very good school I have enjoyed my time there so far. I can’t give it the full 5 stars as well the pandemic has well denied the full experience but so far not bad
Reseda Senior High School has a very good science magnet that provides two pathways, Biomedical Science and Engineering. Both pathways really focus on their subjects and allow students to get involved in that particular field in the future.
What I liked about Reseda Charted High School is there are so many clubs, magnets, and programs to be in. We can also do sports and fun activities after school. Me personally being in the Police Academy made me change me n my way of thinking physically and emotionally throughout all of my four years it showed me the different job opportunities you can get into being in Law Enforcement how it's not just about arresting people it's also about learning new things, Even become a better leader shown by the people around us into how we can help each other out into becoming and build our leadership. Id there was something that I wish can change is to no just judge this school but learn more about let other people know that Reseda is a really great school to be any just like any other school to be part of it's not about competition it's about help the student achieve a goal.
Reseda High School offers a variety of magnet programs that are very beneficial in the development of student's eagerness to attend school, boost self confidence, discipline, and as well as working with their peers to success.
This is a title 1 LAUSD school, so all students get free lunches since the majority of students qualify for free and reduced lunches. Most students are Hispanic, with a good amount of Asians, African Americans, and Caucasians. Join a magnet program to receive more educational opportunities within and outside of class. The science magnet program gives research opportunities like DNA Barcoding, where you work to publish your own sequence of an animal on BOLD-SDP, to internships in Amgen and working with UCLA professors on research. There's a lot of non-lab activities too, like HOSA, where students place as state finalists every year. AMEM makes great films, and overall each program has its own club and classes to make the most out of your skillset. This school is small and accessible, so if you're proactive and make your own club, you can and get support from peers and faculty. There's 2 gyms so sports are fun, and a customized auditorium so events are the best and comfy too.
What I like about Reseda Senior High School is the constant reassurance and help that students and staff give to each other. As well as the resources the school has, for example; sports, arts, sciences, and after school activities. Other resources are different clubs that are easy to join/participate and fun to be in with lots of valuable information.
It was a good high school. Definitely do sports. Its a small school but easy. The teachers are nice and the staff + counselors are respectful. I only had problems with some students during these years, but I honestly had a good time , join the clubs as well. The good thing about the school is the structure of it is not complex and there are only 4 periods and also not a lot of fights but there are fights I say just not a lot so it’s all good. Overall you should definitely join clubs or sports and enjoy high school I did not do that but I recommend all of you to do. I want all of you to know plan ahead for your future and probably take a pre calculus class if your a science major therefore you would get a higher level of math class in college. One thing I’ll change about this school is to have the teacher be more hard on the students because college is not that easy.
Teachers are very involved with students. A lot of extracurricular activities offered which is good to put on college transcripts. One thing I would like to see change is for the school to have more information on college and its resources.
Reseda Senior High is a pretty good High School. It's block schedule may seem long with around 2 hrs per class (4 classes each semester) but time can pass by pretty quick. The teacher there are satisfactory in teaching at times, but most- in my case- are pretty passionate in what they are teaching, making things engaging and fun, but all around they are sufficient enough to get you by high school. Last thing I want to mention is that it may not look as much but you can make some worthwhile memories there if you participate in their extracurricular activities which could let you find yourself and let you know what you want to be and where you want to go after highschool.
Reseda High School was an average school and it had all the necessary curriculum in place, yet the academic advisement was lacking. This school didn't give a sense of direction to its students. This was five years ago, maybe they have changed. I transferred to Reseda AEWC adult school to get my degree, as I did not graduate from the school directly. Hopefully, the charter system in place readies its students for higher education, as I did not receive that at this school.
Reseda High School is a good school if you like block schedules. It’s really fast paced and if you want to complete full courses fast then that’s the school that would be good. The downfall is that Reseda doesn’t care about any other program other than Football. Then focus and advertise Football over any other extracurricular activity. There are lots of extracurricular activities like Student Body, Sports; both male and female, anime club, robotics and many more.
The teachers at the school really care. They try their best to help you achieve the most you can. The students are not the greatest, but that is tentative.
The teachers and staff members are friendly. The students are outgoing and participate in various extracurriculars and lunch activities. I would like to see a change for the school food. The food is not in very good quality and they used the microwave which harms the food making it absorbant to plastic chemicals.
The things I enjoyed about Reseda were the teachers, some were very involved with a student's success. One thing I would like to see change is the involvement of students in campus activities and school spirits.
I liked the robotics and the cybersecurity clubs at this school. It is what ultimately fueled my career choices.
I enjoyed all the activities designed by the Student Body and the administration, they centered in two aspects: providing a dynamic entertainment and the efforts to provide assistance to any academic project for the achievement of the student's success.
This is the greatest school I ever went. The teachers are the best. The care they take is great. Diversity is profound.
