This school does not live up to its slightly above average GreatSchools rating. I went to this school for 7th grade. The IB program was disorganized and incredibly confusing. The iPads students were given were very difficult to use, and we were not allowed to bring them home. The hallways always smelled like sewer (no I am not being dramatic everyday it smelled like sewer most likely due to bad piping. this was made even worse because my classrooms were supposedly located in the "new" side of the school). There was also never soap in the girls bathroom, which was kind of nasty because it meant no one was properly washing their hands. However, school buses were always nice, certain classes were helpful, and children at this school were always pretty friendly.
Bullying is covered up and the food is terrible waste spills over into the air vents .Some teachers try but many dont know the content there teaching.they say this a great school. what couid fix this school is teachers who know the content and no raw sewage.
I’ve been a student at Renfroe since the 6th grade I’m currently in the 8th grade the school is apparently ranked highly for whatever reason that I don’t agree with but if I were you I would not go to the school their are rude teachers that treat most kids unfairly. The food has its moments. We once had the AC stop working the school did not alert our parents and tried to keep it under wraps telling students not to call their parents the AC was not fixed until the next day... It was as hot as Satan’s butt crack in their and everyone had to move on as regular procedure.
Overated. Not as what you expected. Academics is marginal. Some of the teachers there are not as helpful to the students to become successful. Only a few really were. Bullying and assaults from students both inside and outside the school are covered up by the administration. Very disappointed! 😳
As a former teacher at Renfroe, I can attest to the fact that this is indeed an outstanding school. The students are actively involved in engaging, thought-provoking learning activities that help them grow and develop. Exciting programs are implemented at each grade level and keep the students engaged and thinking about the world in a broader context than other schools. The teachers are extremely dedicated to the growth and development of the students there.
I am a student and every day I come home smiling from ear to ear we love our experience with the school we the teachers too. So glad to be living here
