Renbrook School Reviews

We have four daughters that have graduated from or are currently at Renbrook and I cannot say enough about the wonderful learning ecosystem. We love Renbrook! From the dynamic, hands-on learning to incorporating the natural habitat around them into curriculum to the amazing, passionate, and caring teachers and staff, our girls are challenged, celebrated and happy. As a community-oriented family, it's important to us that our children are educated on civic leadership responsibilities and respect and Renbrook instills lifelong values. It's a wonderful, joyous purpose-led community that has also done a terrific job navigating through COVID under Headmaster Sigrist's leadership.
Our family joined the Renbrook community summer of 2020. Over the last two years we have been impressed by their thoughtful planning to provide the happiest and safest learning environment possible throughout the pandemic.
I appreciate how much PE, library, STEAM, foreign language, music, and art are prioritized in the curriculum to round out the academic experience. Students also have the opportunity to participate in sports and a variety of other after school activities for added enrichment.
The school is organized and communicative. We receive weekly school and teacher newsletters and we can feel engaged in classroom learning with the Homeroom app. The faculty and staff are devoted to their students' love of learning.
For a Pre-K to Grade 8 school, I am amazed by the level of alumni engagement. It is what you would typically see at the high school/college level. Renbrook provides a special foundation that students and families feel connected to throughout their lives.

Our son moved to Renbrook in 4th grade when he wasn’t making expected progress in our local public school. From the moment he joined the Renbrook community we have seen him shine. He will graduate this year from 8th grade and has become a wonderful person, student and friend. We couldn’t be happier with our experience here- caring teachers, individual attention, supportive community and advanced curriculum. Highlights have been nature trips around campus for hands on learning, leadership opportunities, and room for personal growth through local projects.
He was just accepted to a highly selective high school and we’re thrilled. Renbrook has helped set a foundation for him to thrive in school and in life.
