This school has been an answer to our prayers. Our eldest child’s unique emotional-social needs are being met and coached. Academically, both our children receive quality instruction; these teachers care and are responsive to parent input and concern. It has been a rough year in terms of school funding and offering teachers competitive salaries, yet the admin and teachers are diligently pressing on. We are so grateful for that. The admin staff has the students’ best always in mind. Oh! And Adventure Education! Our children have adopted the mantra of “we can do hard things,” and their sense of teamwork and resilience would make any parent proud.
We have been part of the Renaissance family since 2009 with my oldest entering kindergarten. We are now sending our middle daughter off to middle school (not offered at REMS) and our youngest is going into 2nd grade.
We can’t imagine having our kids at any other school, the culture at REMS is amazing the focus on everyone being part of the same CREW. It helps develop friendships and a great environment for learning both indoors and outdoors while on their many outdoor education “voyages” they take starting in kindergarten.
