When I began going here I was able to excel in the majority of classes. I would recommend attending this school.
I attended Renaissance Academy Charter School from Kindergarten to 12th grade and I loved every aspect of my experience. The school itself brought all districts in such as Norristown, Phoenixville, Pottstown and Collegeville which allowed for tons of diversity. The school also had great academics and also was very College-Prep which was great for those who wanted to further their education status. Renaissance was an overall great school for all kinds of students and allowed me to gain connections and make forever friends.
I have been going to RA for the past seven years. The classes are smaller than other schools, which allows for more one-on-one time with the teacher. There are a variety of classes and levels to take, so you don't need to worry about being a class that moves too fast or slow. The teachers are nothing but helpful and supportive, you can tell that they really care about their students. Besides academics, they offer tons of clubs and extracurricular activities. My time at RA has been enjoyable and I am happy to go to a school that feels like a family.
My daughter have attended this charter school since Kindergarten. They are in smaller classes then they would be in if going to public school. There is a code of conduct as well as a learning contract they sign each year to ensure they are serious about their education. They seem to be learning at a faster pace then their peers at local public school. We love Renaissance!
I have attended Renaissance Academy since I was in kindergarten. I like the small school atmosphere. The academics and the teachers are above average. I have enjoyed my 13 years Renaissance Academy
The staff is very caring and supportive of the students. Additionally, my child felt comfortable and safe. Whenever time she felt the need for additional support regarding subjects she was having difficulty with, the teacher was very support and gave the support she needed. Extra-curricula activities were adequate and inclusive. Overall, my experience with Renaissance Academy was very good and I highly recommend the school.
Renaissance Academy provides an education that many other schools don’t. Because it is a small school your able to get hands on and one on one help that may not be accessible at other schools.
I enjoyed my high school experience at Renaissance Academy. Due to the fact that there are about seventy-five students per grade, you have more one on one time with staff; when it comes to the college application process, you're concerns are answered promptly. The teachers and the rest of the staff prepares you for success by instilling study habits and preparing you for the real world. I gave Renaissance four stars because although they do a good job at preparation, it comes with a lot of "hand-holding" and you have to ask repeatedly to be treated as the young adult you are.
I attended Renaissance Academy for four years. I graduated from there in 2017. The school has some of the most incredible teachers and staff. One thing that I would change is diversity in classes that are offered. Although there are options, the options were confounding.
This is a great school. It is very involved and everyone is included in something. I was a new student for my Sophmore year and immediately felt included. I am only in my junior year and i feel like I have been here my whole educational career.
My experience at Renaissance Academy was amazing. I was really engaged with teachers and enjoyed having diverse classes of large and small amounts of students. Renaissance education definitely prepares you for college. They are great at helping you if you need help with any classes or struggling with any of the curricular. On the other hand, just like everything they have their flaws. Though it's a great school, some things do need to change in the future. Renaissance should try offering more Ap classes, and other outside of school opportunities to help get you more familiar with the field you think you may want to pursue in the future. Also, the number of children should increase, especially for their high school. 75 kids per grade can be very toxic to a degree. Overall it is an excellent school and has helped me in a major way to become who I am today.
I have been attending Renaissance Academy Charter school since I was five years old and I could not imagine myself growing and thriving in any other school. I am constantly wowed by my peers and by the teachers that are provided for me. I am part of the varsity volleyball team as well as manager for the baseball team, so sports are a big part of my life and my school lets me pursue that through them.
This school has enabled me to SOAR!! The teachers are amazing and really care! Best decision I ever Made!
RA is a very good school but has its flaws like every school. I came here not too long ago but the community is really welcoming and like a family.
Good academics and options. many options for sports. Great college preparation and process. good special education program. Small, 70-80 per grade, you know everyone in your classes.
I came to this school in fifth grade i was scared because i didn't know any their. but now I am a senior and i don't want to leave all of my friends and teachers.
I liked that most of the teachers actually cared and they had a really good education system for the most part, I just wish I could've had more class opportunities that most public schools have. But overall if I had the chance to go back in time and change schools I wouldn't.
