I like how the parents, the student body and community got so involved in sports, clubs, and other activities. I want like to see the education rate go up and having more opportunities to learn how to do with things in the way they learn best.
Our school building is okay. There is this one spot in the band room where the roof leaks pretty decent every time it rains, and the janitors hallway is pretty banged up. Theres holes in the walls and the tile floor is pretty torn up, but during the day students are not allowed down there because of the condition. But in general, its a pretty decent school. The main halls and classrooms are always very clean, and everything is organized. There is a media center with 25 desktop computers, and a computer lab above that with 40 desktop computers. All are equip with Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, and Microsoft Excel. Also there is one Guidance Counselor and his secretary.
The sports programs at Remsen High School are very good. They provide the essentials that we need to succeed and beyond. Our varsity soccer field is located in the middle of our track. We don't have try outs at our school, our class sizes only consist of 20 to 30 kids max. So who ever goes out for the team, plays. Were not exactly the best, but we try our best and put fourth full effort. We also have a lot of school spirt. So many people paint their faces our school colors (orange and black) during basketball games and soccer games.
