I have loved being at Rejoice. I have been here my whole life and have truly been able to find my place. The only reason I leave off one star is because of the hypocrisy of many of those in the school. There is also a small element of nepotism, but that has gotten better over the last couple years. I would recommend Rejoice to anyone, but be prepared to deal with a few hypocrites. The teachers and coaches are incredible and truly have a heart for the students’ best interests. Academics are tough but manageable. There are only three AP classes which is a major downside when applying to competitive selective universities. Other than that, very solid school.

Overall, I think Rejoice is a pretty good school. I like that our class sizes are small, which makes it easier to learn and have interactive learning experiences. It's also great that I'm able to talk to my teachers throughout the day, and that the school even offers academic support after school (basically tutoring). I think having good teacher-student relationships have dramatically impacted my high school experience.
As far as the student body goes, it's pretty small. It's a pro and a con because I get to know everyone in my high school, but it also lacks racial and cultural diversity.
The ONLY reason I put two stars is because of the (mostly) amazing teachers that work there. My young, single mother felt very judged when she took me when I was young and never felt welcomed. There are some amazing teachers who are so passionate about their students. The reason for the poor rating is due to sketchy administrative faculty who I believe are not there to share the love of God to their students. It is all politics when it comes to the administration. I feel bad for all the parents who started at the nice new campus who have not even the slightest clue of what goes on behind the scenes.
