Being at Reidsville High for 3 years, continuing to be 4, it has been a great experience. Many students here have such underrated talent such as being very artistic, playing tennis, basketball, football and very intelligent in the classrooms. Teachers are welcoming, they help you learn and most definitely try to help you get your work done. Junior year is kind of rough, but eventually you’ll push through the obstacles. Students use to even help me out sometimes if I need it. The school spirit at Reidsville is so GREAT. Everybody, including myself always looks forward to the basketball and football seasons. For our city to be as small as it is, we can sure show so much support for the school. What I would like to see changed is updated bathrooms, buildings.. etc because our school is a little old. I feel like we should have better food choices because the food here sucks. If it was in my hands I would definitely change that.
Overall a good experience there. Teachers as a whole don't get the credit they deserve. They need more counselors to assist with the College Planning process as well as day to day issues that arise. I felt supported and cared for by the staff and am very appreciative of all those who do take time and care for their students. I did leave for my senior year of high school because I needed an arts-based school to further my dance career. Thank You, Reidsville High for some amazing memories and friendships that will last a lifetime!
I like the family that Reidsville High School has built between all the students and the staff. There will always be someone to call on when you're in need. Also, the sports community is amazing. Football and basketball are our highlight sport, and we have unconditional support from students, staff and the Reidsville community. Overall, the school is a fun and safe place to be.
