This school is sexist and needs to update its policies. It was terrible attending as a student. The only thing this school cares about was money and football.
There is a lot of walking because they decided to put some of the middle school classes on the high school campus and some of the high school classes in the middle school campus. The teacher don’t teach half of the time. The school is interested more in sports than academics.
Refugio is one of the proudest schools I have ever been too. I love seeing my class support every grade, and how every teacher is willing to jump in and help every student. The academics and athletics are some of the best I know. During Hurricane Harvey the school opened its athletic facility to everyone who needed a place to stay. Our football boys stayed during the horrific storm and soon after rallied everyone in the town and lifted up everyone’s spirits. School pride is the absolute most amazing aspect of this school along with the clubs and sports we offer. I’m proud to be graduating as a Refugio Bobcat! GO CATS GO!
The school is great over all. Sports are fantastic. Teachers are awesome at doing their job and caring about their students. All the coaches are cool and great coaches. There is really nothing I could think of that could make the school any better. My over all experience at Refugio high school was fantastic.
My experience in Refugio High School has been amazing. Throughout my high school career my teachers have taught me so many lessons inside and outside the classroom. The school environment has been a positive one, if there has ever been trouble we are equipped with amazing staff and resources to helped us solve any problems we may have.
I personally enjoy Refugio High School. The teachers are outstanding and do their best to give us great education. We also have a amazing athletic program, which gives all the students something to look forward to.
Refugio High School was an over all good school to go to the sports programs were, in my opinion, held as more important than the academics. Most of my teachers really prepared me for college classes.
The school is pretty safe, It's small and everyone knows everyone there's never an issue with feeling unsafe. We also have an officer here. When it comes to health, my school supports donating blood and even helped students get vaccines that were needed before college for free. You don't really hear about bullying here.
The administration support is good but not many clubs.
The safety at our school is great for the most part. Some people have tried bullying but have got into serious trouble.
We have a few different clubs but not that many. But what we do have everyone is fully engaged. We should have more.clubs and activities I believe
For the most part most teachers seem to put in more than they need to. There are a few that do slack off and basically do jot teach much.
I enjoyed everything that went on especially the athletic events. I would not come back to this school because some of the teachers do not treat all the students the same.
We keep it pretty clean and help out.
every year, we get pushed to gain more success.
Drugs are not prominent in this school, neither is gang violence. We all like each other, and mostly all of us get along well.
