See the teachers get the kids more ready for college. It’s a small school where everyone knows each other. Also love the improvements that are being made and have been made to the school
I liked a few of the teachers but I wish they would make sure that they actually taught especially in science.
Reeves High School is a small school in a small town, making parent and community involvement very high. While it does lack things that most larger schools have, students have more of a chance to get 1 on 1 time with a teacher for help and allows the teachers to understand the students to be able to help them better.
Reeves high school is a small community school and everyone will be known. It is very easy to get involved within the school. There is not many kids in each class. You feel safe and at home in the school even though the food may not be good.
I liked how all nice the teachers are and the people are really nice! When you need help with work or personal problems the teachers and counselor are always there to help you when you need it.
You very rarely hear of bullying in this school, and when you do, the end of the story almost always involves the bully apologizing. There is a police station right around the corner and a cop visits during lunch. I feel extremely safe at this school.
All the clubs are extremely active in the community and in competitions.
My experience at this school has been wonderful. This school is so small and personal that it embraces you without question or judgement. I would choose this school again if I could do it all over because I feel that it is the way schools are supposed to be.
It is small and personal. All the students are supportive for each other, whether they are friends or not. The teachers are wonderful, and take extra time to make sure that we are prepared for life. The staff is great, always there for you. I love going to this school.
The school counselor does whatever he needs to in order to help the students thrive.
Most of them try hard to teach what we need to know in a way we will understand.
Clubs participate in a lot of different activities.
The teachers are good but they don't tend to stick around long.
The only way you can go home if you're sick or call home even is if you have at least a 100 degree fever.
Our school food is gross. We have the same stuff over and over and sometimes they even make us eat leftovers. The food has no taste and I hate it. The only reason our food is healthy is because they only gives a little bit. I'm still hungry after I leave lunch and not because I'm fat because I'm average.
We don't have many classes to choose from. Everyone in LACore4 has the exact same classes and everyone who doesn't have LACore4 have the same classes as each other. The students teach us well but if you want to take college courses you have to either drive to Kinder High School, McNeese University or you have to do it by compressed video.
People gossip a lot here, but I guess its easy to make friends. Typically they aren't real friends. Sometimes even the teachers are bullies. But most of the teachers care about their students a lot. I think I might choose a different school if I could because I've never really made friends with anybody here and some of the teachers are really mean to me, and I mean that as they make fun of me, but the work is easy and understandable so I think I would stay as a possibility.
