I loved the staffs enthusiasm to teach us in all aspects of life not just school and how they coach us to be better people as well as students. I like how every student is accepted and can be rewarded for anything they do. For instance I compete in powerlifting which isn’t that mainstream and popular but at my school it is welcomed with open arms.
The school is very resourceful and provides newcomers with all the information they need, all aspects of the school like academics are top notch
Reedy High School is very strong academically and pushes students to succeed in their academics so that they have a good chance of getting into a college of their choice. The fine arts programs in particular are very well defined and give off a strong sense of community.
For me, the opportunities for the students were the best part. The teachers here are passionate about teaching and helping students learn. I had the opportunity to get tutoring in the morning or after school if I needed it, be a part of NHS, play football, and make friends through the extra curricular they offer. There isn't much to change, the school is great overall.
I honestly really liked it here. The education I received here was very good and there was a wide variety of classes that I was allowed to take. It is not the most diverse school and is composed of only upper middle class students but I really enjoyed my time here.
I liked that there was diversity and the new principal was interactive with students and had fun activities or theme weeks organized.
It was ok. Because of the pandemic the last two years have felt like a waste of my time. My freshman year was probably the best academically because my teachers put in effort and actually taught us.
My experience at Reedy High school was pretty average. I had just moved to Frisco Texas in August. Trinity High school, my old school and Reedy high school are very different schools in academics and the social aspect as well. I wish Reedy had more culture.
I had a great experience at my years at Reedy High School. I was apart of the Drill Team but there was always tons of school events to attend. This year was more difficult with COVID-19, but parents and staff did what they could to improve our senior year.
Reedy is a great school academically, however, there is something to be desired in the diversity requirements.
The teachers were mostly nice and the school was okay. A lot of the classes I took have either helped me for other classes or completely destroyed my GPA. The school will push you to do your best in terms of academics and they highly recommend you to take AP courses.
I love the school. I love how involved the student body is in sports and at pep rallies. The whole school supports all the sports teams and cheers for them. I love the teacher and how well they teach and make sure you understand the materials they teach, even if you don't understand and go in for help they take the time to teach you and help you understand and they want whats best for you. They make you feel important in class and treat you as an individual.
Amazing and engaging teachers, great academic programs, lots of school spirit, and incredible art program.
The learning environment at Reedy is definitely more competitive but there are some good tech sets throughout all the different subjects.
I loved the staff at Reedy. I was able to become close with them fairly quickly. I wish we would have more time to get to know our teachers and not be so competitive for grades.
Reedy does a very good job with creating a high competition for academics with the frisco isd education program but they do not really help with future careers or planning whatsoever. I overall enjoyed it but it could have been better with helping me on my career path and college planning. There is discrimination between sports meaning some sports get more funding and resources than others.
It's a wonderful school. The reason why I rate it 5 stars is because it is pretty great. If you don't go to Reedy, you're missing out.
