Reedy High School Reviews
Rating 4.1 out of 5 125 reviews
My experience at Reedy has been a mix of good and decent. It is good because of some of the teachers and because of the classes that you can attend. However, there is still much room for improvement. Reedy has issues with giving high school kids freedom/respect. Because of specific kids vandalizing bathrooms, all students get punished and aren't allowed to move about the school. You can also tell that some of the teachers aren't treated properly because so many have quit within the past 2 years. Reedy has the potential to be an inclusive and comforting environment if the staff listened and cared about students' complaints, giving the people that attend your school a voice in important matters and decisions.
Reedy High School was a really great school, which pushed me to excel in my learning. Providing a variety of courses with different challenges in each helped me to become a well-rounded person and student. With strong academics, they also had many different clubs covering a broad spectrum of interests. However, one thing that I would like to see improved is the nutritional options provided to students. Having balanced and healthy choices available to students with preferences, such as vegatarians, vegans, and more, is the one piece that is missing from Reedy's puzzle. Overall, Reedy High School is a great institution which creates leaders for the future.
From Kindergarten onward, I have always felt connected to my classmates. Reedy fosters those connections and relationships, whether that be with a coach or a lunch lady. I have learned so many valuable life skills along with my education. Additionally, the teachers express a sense of understanding toward the students. I love how the school is run and the sense of belonging that comes with it!
