Overall my time at Reedley high school has been challenging, not in the academics part of the school but the teachers and staff. Some of the staff are kind and understanding while others don't care or act as if you are the dumbest person on planet earth. The sports program could be better but I personally haven't had any issues. They do have good programs set up like NJROTC and the sports medicine club, which both challenge you to really get involved.
My experience in Reedley High has been amazing. There's nothing I would change from it because i've learn so much and the teachers there are amazing very helpful. Im very happy for being in this school.
Reedley High School is a large high school in a small rural town on the side of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. Kids come from the small mountain towns and the agricultural country that surrounds the small town of Reedley. The school is known for it outstanding marching band. The academics are good and the sports are average.
Since the very beginning when I started high school, Reedley High embraced me and made me feel at home. The teachers are so helpful and have taught me so much. I have been involved in leadership and ASB which has made me really enjoy my high school experience.
I enjoy my high school's efforts to include students. The school works to try to accommodate student needs and troubles. However, I think that the school could be more mindful of mental health and not just say that they are. I don't always feel that the school does enough to help those with mental health issues.
Reedley High School has the best student teacher communication. At Reedley high school you can feel safe and comfortable because there are campus security, a probation officer and a police officer as well.
I really that I was able to be involved in activities that help me grow emotionally as well as academically, I meet many encouraging people that help through my journey at this school.
My four year experience at Reedley High School was quite enjoyable and amusing due to many factors. This particular school is exciting in a variety of ways, from the Friday night football games to the school clubs, there many ways of entertainment offered besides the courses. A few things that I am fond of this high school is the administrations dedication to their students and the offered opportunity to create change in the school through the our voice club, if there is something this school needs the administration always allows room for better change. Some things I hope will change in this school is the diversity of the students by integrating more diverse international students of different cultures and races to impact students with new and different perspectives of the world. I would also appreciate it if more career preparation courses were offered. Thanks to the amazing administration and student ideas this school is capable of change and development.
I think that the school is pretty good. It has quite a few greatly devoted teachers that try their best to help their students succeed. However, others need to learn how to accommodate student's needs more.
My experience at Reedley High School was not the best. Let's start from the beginning shall we. I walked in like any other Freshman walking through the high of finally growing and being a little fish in the big pond that was high school. Teachers were fair but many, you could tell, did not really want to become teachers. They taught well enough but not enough to really prepare us for college. It was really them just passing students because they did not want their fail rate to be horrible considering our "demographic". Which consisted of mainly Hispanic students, myself included. Reedley High school was fun in its entirety. There were the rally's and the sports games and many activities but not enough in my opinion to prepare us for what lies ahead. Not to mention no one felt truly safe at school. My Freshman year we were on a 4 hour lock down because of a gun on campus. We had many of the scares in all 4 years that I attended this school. Reedley was average school overall.
Might be one of the better schools in the area but that is not saying much. There are many unmotivated students, little competition. The only way of somewhat avoiding this problem is getting into AP classes, where one can find a bit more enthusiasm from peers.
It is a great school many teachers students are involved they show their pride very well and the unite as a family they never leave their side especially when one needs them they are considered as a family they have fun they are amazing and the way that they have excitement it is contagious.
I liked how friendly everyone was there, and had a very caring staff. My personal thoughts that could be improved would be the way that students learn.
Reedley High has been an excellent 4 years in continuing my education. The teachers and staff, as well as the experiences I have had throughout the years, have inspired and motivated me in furthering my education in college.
My experience at the highschool is pretty normal I just go about my day going to my classes I mostly enjoy talking to my friends and meeting new people and creating relationships with my teachers. I would like to see the school staff be more friendly towards the students
School was very interactive; everyday there was always some sort of activity going on, wether it was a pep rally or a surprise guest speaker, which made showing up to school a lot more enjoyable
I had a great experience throughout my entire time at Reedley High School. All my teachers have been very supportive and helpful with any academic problems I had. I was provided with a variety of AP classes to choose from to help boost my college applications. However, If I could change something about the Reedley High school it would be the quality of the food provided there to make it healthier as well as tastier. Other than that this campus was a great place to attend high school.
