My experience at Reedley High School as been amazing and simply marvelous. In order to sound not to generic I will dive into a little more detail. Here at Reedley High there is a lot positivity from the staff, asb representatives, and simply my classmates who strive for accomplishing their objectives in aspect of their education and personal goals. At Reedley High School there's a strong culture of competitiveness in a healthy environment were many and man students work hard to be the best of themselves. I've had so many wonderful experiences in the extracurricular programs offered as well as the the way they are organized.

My experience at Reedley High School was not the best. Let's start from the beginning shall we. I walked in like any other Freshman walking through the high of finally growing and being a little fish in the big pond that was high school. Teachers were fair but many, you could tell, did not really want to become teachers. They taught well enough but not enough to really prepare us for college. It was really them just passing students because they did not want their fail rate to be horrible considering our "demographic". Which consisted of mainly Hispanic students, myself included. Reedley High school was fun in its entirety. There were the rally's and the sports games and many activities but not enough in my opinion to prepare us for what lies ahead. Not to mention no one felt truly safe at school. My Freshman year we were on a 4 hour lock down because of a gun on campus. We had many of the scares in all 4 years that I attended this school. Reedley was average school overall.
What I liked about Reedley High School is that several AP and Honors courses are offered to the students. Also, the teachers for such classes are very knowledgeable on the respective subject which makes the class enjoyable. However, this school needs much improvement with their communication with parents regarding school threats. In addition, several installations need to be either fixed or changed. For example, the bathrooms are always either leaking or flooding and half the time there isn't toilet paper in the stalls or soap in the soap dispenser.
