I like the library, but the food system needs to be worked on in my opinion. The teachers are 50/50 on if they teach well for you and are nice.
There are very nice and caring teachers who want the best for their students. Mr. Ricketts is a very supporting principle and Mrs. Dennis is one of the best teachers. The band is a very important part of RC and a lot of people talk about the band.
I have gone here my whole life and loved it! While we are a small school, the community is impeccable and the relationships built with teachers and students will be something I'll hold onto forever!
My experience at this high school has been really good. I was constantly challenged in all of my classes, I had a lot of fun in our activities, and I never ran out of options to keep my schedule busy. The teachers were very nice and the environment at the school was very welcoming.
I really like how involved every single student can be in extra circular activities and sports. The school does a really nice job of planning so as a single student can be in multiple activities without serious conflicts.
My experience at Reed-Custer has been all I could ever ask for it to be. Teachers are helpful and invested in students lives. They truly care about students; you can count on getting help before or after school when having trouble just about any day. Reed-Custer offers many extracurricular clubs and activities that draw in people of all interests. The school faces the same problems as big schools, but the administration does its best to take care of the problems quickly and efficiently.
Reed Custer is a safe environment with teacher that really do care about student academics. The school is clean and well kept and cares greatly about sports and activities.
At Reed Custer High School, I was very happy with the teachers I had and the classes I have taken. The facilities are great and are frequently updated, and the academics are great. I overall enjoy the school and suggest others come to Reed Custer as well!
Horrible administration full of ignorant people. They've yet to establish a GSA even though MANY of their student body identify with parts of the LGBT community. They even refused several same sex couples to bring their significant others to prom because it may make other students "uncomfortable". This is a weak education system founded in lies and ignorance.
The teachers really cared about the student's well being. Most of the teachers really liked their job and it showed in the way they taught there class. This school was in a very safe neighborhood, so school was always very safe and inviting.
I generally felt very safe.
I love the teachers! They're all very approachable and friendly and almost all are very knowledgeable.
When I was in high school we had some of the best teachers in the area. Our graduation rate was also pretty high. They hired teachers who they thought would best benefit the students. The teachers we had were very knowledgeable about the subjects they were teaching. The teaching styles they used were all of them. Meaning visual, auditory, hands on, etc. The teachers were pretty good about being able to contact them during school and when we are not in school. It was overall one of the best schools in the area.
Most of our sports teams aren't successful but our basketball team brings out a majority of the school to each game.
Reed-Custer is an amazing district for one of its size because a lot of money is brought in from the nuclear plant in town through taxes so we are able to have many programs that schools our size don't have.
All of my teachers are very interested in their students and have no problem engaging with them in entertaining conversations.
Despite all the aspects that I don't like about this school, I did have a great four years while I was there.
