The teachers here truly care about their students, and want everyone to be successful. It’s an environment in which you can build a close relationship with those teachers and learn more from them if you’re willing to do the work. At RPA you will be successful, guaranteed, if you put in the effort and do your work. Because of the culture it is very easy for some students to just let their work slide. These are the students who do not pass their classes.
It’s a school with a great culture that encourages personal exploration and allows you to be yourself safely.
This school has offered me the opportunity to take control of my education, and work on a personalized, college-like schedule in a way that works best for me. Considering the smaller amount of resources RPA has to work with, it excellently utilizes the available space and capital to do more with less, hiring teachers that truly care about the success of each student, whatever success means to that individual. Students are given freedom in their class schedules and opportunities to pursue any avenue they choose, with the support of a well prepared faculty and supportive school environment. As a whole, RPA is a school which allows students to enjoy coming to school, pursue what they find passion for, and all within a supportive and creative school environment.
