Redlands High School is filled with diversity and history. The teachers, students, and staff are kind, patient, welcoming people.
It is a good school, all things considered. Great academics. However, there are certain school policies that need work. Also, the school is very old and in need of renovation. Many times there are no working bathrooms, no mirrors, and poor plumbing. Security is questionable and lots of the funds that the school needed to allocate towards better school supplies and more resources available to students was instead used towards building an automated fence that surrounds the school. The fence is itself a bother in just getting to and from school and honestly is more of a safety hazard than a successful security feature. Academics are great and the school has a high percentage of AP students with ample college readiness resources and extra curriculars.
The school was memorable because of the reputation of the old school, the teachers, and the staff. The actual school was not much to brag about since it was very much outdated, but maybe that increased it's appeal to me. Had fun going to this high school. The school has many connections due to its age it seems as well.
The school is full of people who would gladly help you in getting to know the place and the teachers are very nice. Most of the teachers would help you if you're struggling in class and all you need to do is ask. Its very easy to make friends as the diversity within the school is excellent.
Redlands High Schools has a diverse and nurturing environment with unique peers staff, and a beneficial educational system.
I really love the tight community at Redlands High School due to the small community in the City of Redlands, you can expect to see your teachers at the store and share a nice conversation. Many of the teachers are very dedicated to helping students earn the best grades and gain as much knowledge as they can before graduation. The activities offered at RHS like football games, rallies, and multiple student organized clubs like Spanish Club give every student the opportunity to get the most out of their stay at Redlands High School. The music program directed by Mr.Benanti is by far one of my favorite things about RHS, the friends I have made and the instruction J have received from Mr.B have made my experience with the music program amazing. I greatly appreciate every one of my teachers and the staff at RHS for providing me with the best high school education I could have asked for. I feel confident and prepared to make the next step towards college due to RHS.
I started going to Redlands H.S during my sophomore year. It's a very rigorous school, however, there are some problems: it's hard to start as a new student if you aren't a freshman, if you're not a freshman, you're already expected to know the ropes, and this was frustrating for me, especially since I had anxiety. I wasn't advertised any clubs or sports, and there isn't much diversity among the nonwhite/Hispanic students. some students would say the n-word with the hard R and wouldn't get reprimanded. Overall it is a nice school for its academics, but my old school was a B-, and I had better mental health there than Redlands.
Redlands High School has very good academics and the teachers are dedicated to help students succeed. Although I started going to this school during COVID, I have already felt welcomed by the students and faculty through zoom. I know this school is working very hard to get back into school in person and I love that I have still been able to participate in clubs here despite the circumstances.
Some great teachers, some bad. Events are fun and the campus is nice. The best times for me were with my friends, sharing experiences and classes.
This school has done a lot for me. Redlands high school has great programs and clubs to be included in. Such as, the Theatre Arts company and the LGBTQ+ alliance club. All of the faculty on campus are inclusive, respectful, and reliable.
The faculty and staff at Redlands Senior High School always do their best to help all students thrive and excel. From personal experience, my teachers have been nothing but reliable and people who truly care about our academic careers.
This school has a truly amazing focus on academic quality when it comes to the more rigorous courses such as APs, and most teachers are easily willing to collaborate with students to help them.
Amazing. Teachers are amazing and it is very friendly. I think that everyone who goes here will enjoy it very much.
The teachers and academics are very good at Redlands High School however the campus is quite old and is in need of repairs.
Redlands senior high school has great diversity and provides a wide variety of ap and honors classes.
Redlands Senior High (just Redlands High School nowadays) is really a quite high-quality institution. It was Redland's first high school before Redlands East Valley and later Citrus Valley were constructed, and remains the best school for academics in town (save, perhaps, for the private schools, but I don't know much about them). REV is generally considered better than us for sports, though, if that's more your thing. The campus is also highly diverse. I think we were recognized for that last year. There are, as is often the case in public schools, two main academic streams (a more- and a less-intellectual one). You pretty much choose which to follow yourself, based on how many honors/AP courses you take. I've always followed the upper stream, so to speak, and have found there to be a very healthy academic environment and little drama. Of course, these are both characteristics subject to variation by year and personal social circle. RHS is probably the best choice in or near Redlands
The teaching staff will vary, just like any school, but the overall attitude of the teachers is geared towards helping you succeed. The Honors/AP programs at this school are excellent and a large part of the reason why is the staff.
