This high school is pretty decent! It's a mix of quality, but it has decent funding, has a solid variety of programs for its students, and about 80% of the staff are well meaning, and do their very best to teach and be there for the students. There are a few definite downsides, however. Even though the school has an incredibly diverse student body, said diverse students are often subtly mistreated without much being done or said about it. Also, I am still not quite convinced that the food isn't radioactive. All in all, it is an okay school, as far as schools go, but there are definitely some improvements to be made.
Attending Redlands High School for the past four years was one of the best decisions I have ever made! RHS is known throughout California for its diversity and inclusivity and its adept mixture of tradition and innovation. The teachers are genuinely interested in the well-being and success of each and every one of their students. If the test scores don't say enough on behalf of the school, the general air of contentment among the students sure does! The campus is beautiful with some buildings that are over 100 years old and still in pristine condition, but at the same time, there are always projects going on to make our campus even more beautiful and even more safe. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to experience such a wonderful school! #longblueline
There are many changes my school and the students, such as myself, had to go through at Redlands High School. Before quarantine my school invested in the installment of gates intending to seclude the campus. It truly is a shame that schools have to take precautions such as gates to protect students from potential school threats. The seclusion of the gates do not create a joyful atmosphere that one would dream of when it comes to the a'High School experiences' but rather creates the sense of imprisonment since we are not allowed off campus unless one is called out of school for clinical reasons. Therefore the free will to grab a snack at a near by is not available as it once was before. Although my dreams of an independent, free feeling high school was not matched, the relationships that I have made out weight the bad. Creating tight bonds through volleyball and clubs truly do make a difference when it comes to enjoying high school.
