My experience at Redlands East Valley has been okay overall. I have attended this high school for four years, and my overall experience was good. I however, cannot speak for everyone my school, considering that many students have felt left out and discriminated against recently. I think that this school has had its rough patches, but I hope they will understand students’ concerns and pay more attention to what they represent.
Redlands East Valley is a very spirited school who's students and teachers take pride in being a part of the campus. You can really tell that the teachers are dedicated to your education and really care about you. My overall freshen to senior experience was honestly a 10/10. I wouldn't change it in any way. The pep-rallys and events put on by ASB are so fun and unlike any other school.
The only criticism I have would derive from Senior Year. The process of college applications is really difficult and hard to understand for many students. No guidance counselors/teachers at REV really tell you what to do. You have to initiate and go through it yourself. Teachers are there to answer questions and help, but no one is going to hold your hand and remind you to apply for FAFSA before the deadline etc. This worked in my favor because it taught me a lot about accountability and independence that ended up helping me in the end.

Redlands East Valley high school has treated me how I imagine any average American high school is, their sports are average, their academics are basic, many students try a little bit too hard to be the best academically, I figure that it is a good thing except for the fact that some people that I know have lost their friends due to grades which I think is very ridiculous in every sense, other than that we are a pretty normal school, we have a creepy male math teacher that is only nice to girls for some reason. Overall Redlands East Valley is a pretty easy school.
