Redlands East Valley High School Reviews
Rating 3.87 out of 5 376 reviews
Overall, REV is a very decent school - having a few notable problems, but overall being a positive experience for me and my education.
In terms of positives, there's a great number of teachers that are supportive, creative, and readily available to help with my understanding of any subject. The staff there are usually going head-over-heels to help students get through to college, offering many chances at applying for scholarships, informing them of how to go through FAFSA, and how to get through AP classes without much stress. Along with this, they offer college preparation classes like AVID.
In terms of negatives, its mostly the infrastructure - it could use more canopies for shade or for the (admittedly rare) rainy days, and the water fountains are usually very dirty when outside. Its more of a minor complaint as compared to the wonderful staff, but I felt it needed saying.
Overall, REV is a very good school with a few notable inconveniences, and I would recommend attending.

The teaching staff at Redlands East Valley High were always very helpful and passionate about their subject, contributing greatly to my academic growth. However, the counseling resources fell short, lacking the necessary support for college and career preparation. Additionally, the academic competition fostered an overwhelming environment. The social dynamics within the school consisted of cliquish behavior, hindering inclusivity and diverse relationships. I would like to see an improvement in counseling resources and more efforts towards inclusivity among students, as I struggled the most with these two aspects at this school.
Redlands East Valley High School was a pretty good school overall. I was involved in the choir while I attended and it was one of the best programs to be in! I was able to build a healthy bond with my teachers and most of them went out of their way to help out if you ever fell behind. I had an unfortunate family emergency that took me out of school for over a week and all of my teachers as well as the counseling staff made sure I was able to catch up and that I was doing okay during the time. They have an extensive library with many options and many resources for students in need.
