Redlands Adventist Academy is a wonderful small school in SoCal. It small size creates a few issues and many opportunities. The problem with RAA is that everyone knows everyone so drama is bound to happen. However, this happens at every school and RAA is most definitely not the worst. The school presents a vast variety of leadership, athletic, musical, and artistic activities. The advantage of being a small school is that almost everyone can be involved in what they want to be involved in. RAA is very accepting of those with physical or psychological disabilities. The faculty are involved, compassionate, and God-serving. Overall, I would highly recommend Redlands Adventist Academy.
I love Redlands Adventist Academy because the people there make it such a family type of community. Everyone knows each other there including both the teachers and the students. It is a place to learn about school stuff but also a place to learn about God, not just through Religion class but through the actions of everyone around me.
I enjoyed my experience at Redlands Adventist Academy because the environment is extremely welcoming and the teachers are both dedicated to their jobs and mindful of the students' healths. I would like for the school to hire additional help when it comes to counseling and dealing with mental health.
Small school environment provides students with many opportunities to get involved. Has a family environment where teachers are eager to help their students succeed.
The teachers are one of the primary reasons I like RAA. They are kind, helpful, generally concerned about the students, and knowledgeable.
Choir and Band Tours are very poular
Very caring teachers, students have many opportunities to develop leadership skills. Overall, the students are accepting of one another. There is a reasonably diverse ethnic atmosphere. There are wonderful banquets, field trips and music tours. The sports program is great because since the school is so small, players who might not otherwise get to be on the team are allowed to play, grow, and develop as athletes.
The safety is good at Redlands and they are making it better. They have now added in tall fences all around the campus and there is a gate guard that opens the gate when cars need to come in.
There are many extracurricular opportunities, like sports, music tours, choir, bells, and other fun events. I have loved participating in all of them.
The teachers actually care about you and how you are doing. If you dont understand something they will take time to make sure you get it.
Teachers and school staff are friendly.
My overall experience was good.
My life here at RAA has been fantastic!
There are many options to do in RAA outside of education. The people in RAA are so nice and it isn't too difficult to fit in. The biggest problem RAA has is that Math teacher (especially Geometry, Pre-calculus, Physics, and AP Calculus) needs to do a better job on avoiding getting too off topic; helping students to understand the subject; and provide resources that would help them do good job in school in a long run. Otherwise, this is a strongly recommended private school to attend to.
The school is very accepting and very small making the study environment favorable.
I have enjoyed my time at this school because it is family oriented. Everyone was accepting and the teachers maintain excellent relationships with the students. The only downfall I experienced was the lack of classes and people due to it being a private school. The sports teams weren't always the champions but the bond that we formed over the season was unbreakable and worth more than any trophy we could have earned. I would say that my school is unique because of the strong relationships that the classes have with each other and the will power that most students have to be the driving force to make the world a better place for all. I would definitely come back to this school all over again. For my experience here has definitely been one that is unforgettable.
There are a bunch of sports teams you can play on, you can join band or choir, or join one of the many clubs like yearbook or the chess club.
