Redeemer Lutheran School Reviews
Rating 4 out of 5 13 reviews
I attended Redeemer for 6 year and have only great things to say about my experience. The teachers are amazing, the curriculum is second to none and each child is treated with care. I LOVE this school – from the teachers to the students to the challenging curriculum. Redeemer integrates compassion into their teaching standards, emphasizes the importance of values, and builds leaders through each of their classes and lessons. Though it is a small school, it allows for a lower student to teacher ratio, giving children more confidence when asking questions, engage in group activities, and opportunities for one-on-one time with the teachers. Teachers are passionate about seeing their students succeed. They are so great about sharing moments of pride they see within each child – their good behaviors and achievements; and they know the importance of getting the parents involved should an issue arise, and do it in a very respectful, approachable manner. The administration is open minded to.
I started at Redeemer Lutheran School in second grade and stayed until my junior year of high school. The Redeemer staff is a like a family to me, they are always willing to help and are very supportive of every endeavor. I will always be grateful for the service and support they provided, even in the darkest times. There are countless memories of past and current students decorating the halls and classrooms, showcasing the love and care each teacher has for their students. Unfortunately, due to Redeemer's size and capability, I was unable to get support I could get at a public school for ADHD and my passion for theater, but I don't regret my time at this place. Although Redeemer Lutheran School is small and may not be able to perform stunts as big as bigger schools, it remains a pivotal part of my upbringing and the staff and building will always remain a time capsule of my fondest memories. I encourage anyone in need of a family to be part of this school and create lifetime friends.
It is a blessing that I can send my children there. It is even more of a blessing that my children tell me that they want to be there. I have three (soon to be four) kids at Redeemer. They are the perfect mix of Christian focus and educational quality. As a parent, my favorite aspect is that faith is worked into every subject and every class. Add to that the high expectations set for students. Redeemer is truly a blessing.
