We came to Redeemer a few months in to our youngest son's 1st grade. He had completed PK & K at our older son's school (another Christian school in the area which has been exactly right for our older son) BUT we were suddenly called in and told our little one was not going to be successful so we must find him another school. Having been involved with Redeemer during college, I knew the quality of education. After our son's "shadow" day, we knew this was the right place. After his first full day, we began to see our little guy re-emerging; we hadn't realized how much he'd withdrawn from the stress of situation in the other school. With the same curriculum & Christ-centered approach as the other school, but a different teaching methodology (interactive research based vs. classical), the emphasis on play in healthy childhood development, and the extensive elective options, he has flourished. He's now been at Redeemer for 3 years and continues to be happy, loved, and learning so much!
We are new to Redeemer this year. Our daughter is in 4th grade. Our neighborhood school is not what we’re looking for. We tried Harmony school of science for Kinder amd half of 1st. Kinder was ok... 1st was horrible. The. Athlos/WBLA for 2nd half of 1st and 2nd this was good. Then... (Athlos turned into Jubilee after 2nd) 3rd was Jubilee. Not good at all. Bullying from students and teachers. Our hopes were high for Redeemer. They have not let us down. Let me just for say no school is perfect. However we are very pleased with the lack of bullying from the children. And no bullying from the teachers which is as it should be. Multiple different options such as choir and they’re learning how to play the recorder, Spanish, Art, Library, a fantastic PE program! Science enrichment is awesome. We are pleased with the switch over.
Redeemer Lutheran School offers a faith-based, world-class education for children from Kindergarten to 8th grade. Through its accelerated curriculum and enriching environment, students excel not only in academics but, also they grow in their spiritual relationship with Christ and with others. The mission of Redeemer is to Love Jesus, Love Learning and Love Others. This is achieved in many ways including Chapel time, engaging children in science, art, and music; a very fun and interactive playground, integrated technology and a staff who is not only well educated but, also nurturing and encouraging. The Bible says in Romans 15:7 “Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.” Redeemer welcomes you and once you enroll in classes here, you become family.
