The staff is amazing! Constantly willing to work with the kids to help them better themselves and secure their futures! I’ve never heard students and alumnini’s say such positive things about teacher and a school! Best school I’ve ever been too
I have absolutely loved me experience at Redding Christian! The school provides the ideal Christian school experience people are looking for. They have very experienced teachers, all of which are Christian. Redding Christian has a very successful athletic program. I have played on the varsity football team for almost three years and I have loved every minute of it. I would definitely recommend Redding Christian to any parent who intends to send their kid to a Christian School.
Redding Christian is a wonderful school with amazing teachers. The atmosphere is inviting and the grounds are always kept clean. Students at RCS have school spirit and are welcoming to new students.
I have been a student at this school since 6th grade. personally I love the environment and the people there. however, I did not enjoy the strictness of the school. certain dress codes were very difficult to follow. Also, there are some amazing teachers. my English class was very difficult but I am thankful for that because it has properly prepared me for my college classes. In addition the small size of the school can be annoying sometimes, but overall the small community it provides is priceless.
Our son was very prepared for college and had a deep love of Jesus nurtured by loving teachers. Both our children have experienced the academic rigor and love of Christ here.
The community is pretty close knit, which is probably to be expected from a small school. There's a lack of resources, which comes from the lack of funds as it, being a private school, receives no government funding. The budget is tuition-based and since the school population is considerably low (there are only about 36 people in my graduating class), the income is not very high. Because of this, any teacher that works at Redding Christian is definitely very passionate when it comes to their work. They work extra hours after school, take work home, and sometimes they even spend their own money on their students. There are things to be expected from a Christian private school, such as conservative religious and/or political opinions, which are likely to be voiced by peers and faculty members.
I have attended Redding Christian School since I was in the second grade and I have had a relatively positive experience with it. It is a small school, so generally, cliques will involve a majority of a class and not include others. However, there is a relatively limited amount of bullying and all of it is relatively impersonal and tame. The curriculum is somewhat difficult and there are some slight issues with the teaching patterns due to longevity and jam-packed courses; especially in areas of math and science. The school is not extremely diverse and sometimes precedence in extracurricular activities will be given to children from wealthier families due to school funding being provided from parents of attending students. The school offers a medium scoped variety of extracurricular activities, sports, and clubs. Overall, although it was not a perfect experience and did have some issues, I had a fairly beneficial experience.
Redding Christian has a wonderful community and fantastic teachers. I wish there were more clubs and activities for more interests, however I do believe the events held are well prepared and I left a majority of them with a positive experience. I am very thankful for everything this school does for its students, and I am so grateful I got the opportunity to attend such an excellent school. A majority of the alumni I have interacted with seems to have come away from this school with a fantastic time and great college readiness. The academics in this school are very well, and the sports are excellent quality. The food seems to have an average quality, and the facilities are not low quality but at the same time are not the highest. This school pushes to include their parents in as many activities as they can.
I love Redding Christian School and am sad that I will have to leave next year. This school has grown me in both skills and education as well as an individual. I am more confident after classes, clubs, and friends I have been involved with. Redding Christian School has such an amazing environment. Often times when new students arrive they are blown away and surprised by the community we have. As a smaller school we can bond not just within our grades, but throughout the whole school. I love to support my friends and go when I can to sports. I am the Student Council Executive President at my school. I lead my council to create at least one event a month. I am also the Interact Vice President. In this club, We put on one international project and one community project as well as ongoing projects that the club had worked with for years.
Redding Christian School has an amazing community of loving students and faculty. There are some teachers who have been apart of some conflict my senior year; however, there are other teachers and faculty who have greatly prepared me for college and been excellent role models in my life. In addition, there are lots of somewhat strict rules. Although I respectfully understand that the rules are for our safety and for the schools policy. Overall, Redding christian is a great school!
RCS is a great school with great teachers and very involved parents. For the size of the school, the sports teams are good and extremely competitive in their division.
My school is a tight-knit community. Although we are quite small, our relationships flourish. All of our teachers have our backs and are rooting for us. One thing I would like to improve upon is more AP and other honors classes.
Christ, education, community - these are key aspects that Redding Christian School has upheld for over 20 years. Because of its Christian background, RCS sets itself apart as it prepares their students to become ambassadors for Christ in every situation. With its variety of sports and classes, the school has truly sought to offer the best of academics and athletics with a Christ-centered attitude. The teachers and faculty genuinely care for the students and families of the students, providing a community that exemplifies the love of Christ to everyone around.
