When I started my freshman year at Red Mountain High School, I was scared out of my mind. I suffered from debilitating anxiety and had an incredibly difficult time making friends and socializing. One aspect of Red Mountain that I have to applaud is their access to clubs pertaining to literally almost EVERY interest. You like anime? Anime club. You love to cook? Culinary club. You play an instrument? Band. Orchestra. Guitar. They boast one of the strongest BioMed programs in the district, one of the strongest FFAs in the state, and truly was one of the most inclusive schools I've evr attended. I found my place easily and broke out of my shell my freshman year. By sophomore year, I couldn't even recognize myself. This school has so many amazing academic, musical, athletic, and social programs that my only real problem in school was balancing club meetings!

Red Mountain is an amazing high school, and it really feels like home. When I moved to Red Mountain I was nervous because the campus was huge and I had no friends. However, after just a week of being on campus I started to feel at home. The staff and students at Red Mountain are all around good people. They welcome you with open arms and are so helpful. The facilities at Red Mountain are excellent, from the cafeteria, to the library. The food at Red Mountain is also some of the best school food I have ever had, and the cafeteria staff are so patient and dedicated. Finally, If your looking for school spirit, Red Mountain High school is the place to go. Our school, hosts all types of events including our Football kickoff carnival! You will always see students wearing their RMHS T-shirts, hoodies, and hats all around campus! In conclusion, I love my highschool, and I am so excited to finish my high school experience there.
I loved how all my teachers and counselors cared and were there to help me with whatever I needed. My classes were small and I didn't have any problems in any of them. I took AP classes too and I highly recommend them, the teachers were great and the content of the classes went much beyond the surface level. People at Red Mountain are also very friendly and it was easy to make some good long-lasting friendships!
