Red Mesa high school is all about finding a way for all the students and staff to communicate with each other. They have help many student through the lowest points in their lives. I don't find anything that they should improve. This is because they make sure that the students have everything to be successful. I want to thank them for all their hard work and dedication.
My experience with Red Mesa is overall great. Its a small school that is very lively even though its a small school.
The things I like about Red Mesa High School are some of the programs they offer; such as Upward Bound or Dual Enrollment courses. Organizations like that can help kids get a taste of college while they are still in high school. I also like the 4 day school schedule, which means we have no school on Fridays throughout the school year. But, I would really like to see a lot of things change. First of all, the school needs some kind of art form, the campus is all just one bland color; I would like to see some color. The entrance of the front office needs a sign, often times people wouldn't even consider the building because of how unwelcoming it looks. Red Mesa High has been struggling with money lately, and I would like to see that change mostly because there is little or no money to buy new equipment/uniforms for the sports programs. Lastly, I would like to see some of the staff members clean up their act. Some of the staff members at that school have begun to corrupt their power.
I have been to Red Mesa all my life, I've grown to love the school and it's faculty, overall it's a really good school.
I have been going to school at Red Mesa all my life ever since Kindergarten. I have grown to love Red Mesa. The school offers a great education and I am now ready to enter the next stage of my life into college.
I have been going to school here at Red Mesa for 14 years now. My first enrollment was in Pre-School, and every year I returned until now it is my final year as a senior. From my many years, the staff has changed here and there, but a couple of the Elementary and Jr. High teachers do not have a very cooperative attitude. However, the High School staff and teachers are very kind and welcoming. The changes I would like to see is a better curriculum that will teach students and bring a better understanding for students of all grades.
The school administration are helpful in getting us what we need. Some students may say otherwise, but that's only because they don't give the staff a chance. If you get to know them a little bit, things will be different.
The teachers are great and are very well knowledgeable of the area of teachings.
We have such an old school, but the staff works with it. As of now, they are renovating the classroom buildings.
I have my own group of friends, and surprisingly some are the stoners. I am no way involved with drugs, but its the influence at home is what makes these students the way they are.
We have great food, but not to sure about the choices for the vegan students.
We have great nurses and they help with whatever problems a student has.
The teachers are great, but like i said we have limited resources.
There are many clubs, but no one seems to be interested in them. The main problem is the sponsors for these clubs aren't active so the students lose interest. The only clubs that seem to interest the students is the Student government and DECA.
So it is not so great. I wish there was a more variety of the clubs such as Music, FFA, or Future Leaders of America.

The sports teams at my high school are very competitive. We have various types such as volleyball, football, cross-country, basketball, track and field, and baseball/softball. We work hard on and off the fields and courts. Most students stay eligible and are great community members. When it is game day, the fans are rolling in the stands and the cheering is unexplainable.
we have very resources to find good coaches, but we work with what we have. Its the same with the sports facilities. We live in a very rural area in the Navajo Indian Reservation, but there is very good talent that is unnoticed.

This school has fine athletics and fitness opportunities. Not many students go to this school so the amount of people who go to tryouts is enough to fill a junior varsity and varsity team. We have a weight room, basketball court, football field, and track. Lately, our school have been performing well with the competitive schools around us. Coaches motivate us to do our best whether it's in football, volleyball, cross-country, or even track.
At Red Mesa High School we have rodeo club, radio club, and after-school activities such as basketball, volleyball, and football. Most students enjoy joining sports rather than clubs. Our school is also very small so we don't really have much options. We get few students who attend tryouts for teams so playing time isn't really a problem. There are really isn't any another extracurricular opportunities besides the ones I named, but they are still good.
