My experience with Red Bay High School has been great! I started out at Red Bay when I was in kindergarten. The teachers and staff are like family to me now. I couldn’t be more thankful for the memories and friends I have made along the way. As much as I am ready to go off to college next year, Red Bay will always hold a special place in my heart.
What I liked about Red Bay is that I knew that I always had somebody who would lend a hand and help me with anything I needed help with. It had one of the best high school environments that a student could as for. The only thing I would work on it is the collage preparation. Reason being that is something everybody should have set up from high school.
Red Bay has been the most wonderful experience I could have ever imagined for my high school career. The teachers and administration know every student by name.
While attending Red Bay High School, I enjoyed my time there. One thing I would like to see change is allowing students to have the opportunity to have lunch from off campus providers.
Overall my experience at Red Bay High School has been good. I have had alot of impact overall from the teachers and administration to make me feel like I was someone. Being from a small town you grow more of a personal relationship with fellow students and staff. I would like to see change in college just to have more opportunities and grow further knowledge.
Red Bay is a fairly small 2a school but the teachers are very personal and know each student by name. I really love the closeness between students and teachers here and I think it really helps in the learning process. There are also some really good coaches who care about their jobs and want to see their players succeed.
I went all 13 years at Red Bay High School. I love the atmosphere of the school but it needs updated badly. I don't think it is safe for kids to go there and learning needs to be with technology instead of hard back books. All surrounding schools in Mississippi use iPads and we still use all books for 30 years ago that are falling apart. I also feel that Red Bay High School needs to change to block schedule.
I would like to see more sports, clubs and activities added. I would like to see more student involvement with the administrators especially the counselor. I love that it’s a small hometown school, and I think highly of many of the teachers.
Red Bay is a small school full of wonderful people who care about the success of its students deeply.
Red Bay High is a wonderful school that offers an amazing learning environment along with friendly teachers and memories that will last a lifetime. The only thing about this school that I would like to see change would be the buildings themselves and the amount of programs offered. This school has been standing for over 60 years and yet has never been remodeled, this could pose serious health risks for the students. Being a small public school however, I feel like more programs and clubs could be offered instead of just shoving the students who dont have programs of interest at the school into online classes.
My experience at Red Bay High School was not bad. There are not a lot of people at Red Bay so you will be given a better chance to participate in sports or clubs. However I did not like the fact that because there are not many students, everyone will know almost everything about you. It personally bothered me throughout high school, but others may thrive in this environment. It really depends on who you are and your standards and beliefs.
This school was easy for me. As long as you do your work and study, you will make good grades. However I do not feel prepared for college. I feel like my future professors will laugh at my ignorance.
There are some teachers that teach better than others. Because of those few awesome teachers, I gave "Teachers" 4 stars.

Red Bay is a school where most teachers do a very professional job in the ways of communicating with students and making sure that they are ready for the next level. Some on the other hand are not so willing to teach and feel as if they are entitled to their job. With this being said, Red Bay is also a popularity contest among the children that attend. If you are not in a clique, chances are you are you will be ridiculed just for that. All in all, I feel as if my learning experience at Red Bay has been full of ups and downs, but at the end of the day I know it will not affect my collegiate endeavors.
It really depends on the teacher you have and what grade you are in. My math teacher Junior and Senior year was awesome! I absolutely love how he teaches. However a teacher I had before was the exact opposite. Her teaching approach didn't make sense for me.. And she wouldn't take the time to explain to me or anyone how to work out the problems.
Most teachers are very concerned about the students and will do anything in their power to help a struggling student.
School staff is very concerned with the students well being.
My child has rarely had any problems at this school and anything that has come up has been handled efficiently and effectively.
This school has the best fan base around. Everyone comes out and supports the students in whatever they are participating in. We have very good athletes, they seem to give their all for the school.
