Rector High School Reviews

I’ve attended Rector School District schools my entire education. Overall it wasn’t terrible, but it could certainly be better, especially where extracurricular activities are concerned. Anything other than sports falls to the wayside with funding and resources so if you’re not interested in sports it’s not the greatest place to be. I’ve never been bullied, but I know quite a few people who are/were particularly those under/over weight and our admittedly few out LGBTQ+ students. The campus is old and many facilities are cracked or broken, the bathrooms especially.
This is a pretty good school, I feel like I was prepared for college and used my time in high school wisely. There is many amazing teacher and faculty at this school and it is a very close community. I would say that they are very focused on sports, which is good if you play sports, but not so much if you want a grand theatre program.
Rector is a very safe and caring environment. Everyone who attends this school is like family. We are a very close community, and I couldn't ask for a better district to attend. The faculty is very loving and only wants what is best for us, and shows that in their work.
