I like the diversity and inclusion that the school brings but I would like to see them enact more discipline on the students instead of making empty threats. I like my teachers and I like the classes and curriculum though.
What I like about Glenn is that there is people of my ethnicity and that there are also good clubs there. i also like some of the teachers that work there that care about students reaching success. I really like that Glenn is also a average size high school making it more interesting. I also like how Glenn is interested in many sports.
It’s really a good school. I feel very welcome here and everyone is nice. The teachers treat students like their own. The rules need a work though.
My time as a high school student at Glenn was great. I really enjoyed all four years and the opportunities presented to me.
I liked Glenn High school because my teachers were able to support through difficult times like the covid-19 pandemic. I also maintained amazing grades and a high gpa and I thank my friends and teachers for helping me make that accomplishment all four years. There were issues were issues with drama every once and a while but I’ve just stayed to myself and I didn’t let that stop me from being the person that I’ve become today. Overall, Glenn high school is a really good school and recommend that people attend it and become successful like me.
So far in my 4 years here at Glenn high school (I'm now a senior) there has been elevated gang activity and most teachers are known to treat the more "diverse" students differently such as handing out punishments more often, dress coding more heavily and making certain racist comments. They also seem to care more about test scores rather than if we actually retain the knowledge or not. Most teachers and administration don't take violent threats or acts of violence towards students seriously. The food the serve is very prison-like and i hope that the realize these things to make it a more enjoyable environment.
Both my brother and I attended Glenn high school and it’s a great school! The staff and teachers are excellent educators. The school continues to support me in my efforts for my future career as a health professional! Some of my favorite people are my teachers and counselors at Glenn, they always are there for me in any circumstance!
I am so glad that I got to be apart of this high school!

Glenn has been my place of education for the past 3 years and I have an older sibling who also attended. We both have similar views on this school. For example we both agree that the overall behavior of the school is terrible and the food they serve is very prison-like. I do hope for better upon our return post quarantine.
Most of the teachers at Glenn High School are amazing, they care so much for the students and their education. They make learning easy. I've learned so much these past four years, and with these challenging times of online learning, the teachers are extremely understanding. What I haven't enjoyed as much is the distasteful connotation it has when I claim to go to Glenn. People living in the area see Glenn as the high school where the bad students go, and it's because of the wonderful diversity that one can find at the school. I personally enjoy attending this misunderstood school.
Glenn High School is full of diverse staff and students. Although education-wise Glenn isn't the best, you'll find some amazing friends and staff to be around. Safety isn't really the best at Glenn, so be careful when attending.
Im currently a sophomore at R.B. Glenn High School, It’s a very diverse school in which we get to express our culture as well as ourselves. It is a very big school so it’s easy to meet people who may have stuff in common. Glenn does take the students in consideration which is amazing, they always have spirit week or stuff like that which makes the high school experience a very special one. They encourage us to take time to learn stuff about one another. The clubs, activities are very special to me. They make high school fun and makes it feel like a family. Glenn is overall a great school.
Robert B Glenn High School was the best high school in time for me. The school was overcrowded and had some problems with upper management. Overall the school offered a pretty good variety of classes to take and offereds some career ready classes at the career center in Winston Salem.
Of all the school's that I have attended throughout my life, I appreciate Robert B. Glenn the most. My experience at the school was phenomenal because the teaching staff is excellent. Their teaching style and technique matched well with my learning ability. I also am an athlete, so I really enjoyed athletics at the school. The coaching staff has made a huge impact on my life, and I have learned many life lessons from them. The overall environment at Robert B. Glenn High School is one that I will never forget. It has made my high school experience one for the books.
Being a homosexual male at Glenn High School definitely was a difficult challenge, students are very ignorant and rude. The student body is very diverse but not very aware of what is going on within the school, and college prep is rarely provided or mentioned. Few teachers seem to actually care about your education and the relationships you make with them. I liked Glenn because of its diversity and the teachers I did make connections with. I would like to see Glenn in future years have more of a community feel as well as having faculty be more involved and show a sense of passion for the students they teach.
Glenn High School is an interesting for everyone that attends. There is so many things going on, its hard to keep up with for everyone. One great thing at Glenn is the cultural diversity within it. You have the ability to meet so many great people with such a different childhood that you would have. Everyone has a story behind them and I meet new people everyday. I have made so many friends with people I would have never thought I would be close to, and just hearing their stories about their struggles is so interesting. However, Glenn High School can be a struggle due to the fact that it can feel insecure sometimes. Its as if one can do whatever they want and no one would do anything about. Administration has been working on it and trying to fix it. But overall, I wouldn't chose any other school to be at.
What I liked about this school was the environment. I liked most of the teachers that are their and find out what I wanted to be in this school which I think is the purpose of high so they did a pretty good job.
Glenn is, in my opinion, a pretty diverse school. I don’t think one race surpasses another and I feel comfortable around the people I share a classroom with. Glenn is a relatively safe school if you disregard the fights every week. I enjoy the few good teachers who teach at Glenn. Some teachers are loud and can seem mean while others are genuinely kind and care about our education. I have been involved in club activities and I believe them to be really cool and helpful at times. I was able to donate blood to the Red Cross through a club from my school which was an amazing opportunity I wouldn’t have gotten otherwise. I have been in the arts (theatre department) and from participating, it’s obvious my school caters more to sports than the arts but it’s still an average program.
