Raytown South High School is jampacked with opportunity to succeed, numerous dual credit corses, a career center nextdoor, and another career center also offers its services to Raytown South.
It is a good school to be in, we are good in sports and the teachers are good as well. Teachers teach you about real things in the world too.
I have lots of fun and exciting moments at school, especially when we have after school activities. I love going on field trips. I went to a contest for an orchestra, and it was really fun, and we did very well.
My experience at Raytown South was a very nice experience, not everyday was a good day but the majority were and the people there were always able to turn my day around if they seen I wasn't in the best mood.
I feel like the school was good overall but the teachers really was not caring as much as I felt like they should and the students was not leading as much
I enjoyed attending this school very much. It does have many flaws, but the staff is dedicated, and the school offers a plethora of activities and classes for students to he a part of. Overall a very solid school.
I like that there is a lot of diversity at Raytown South High School. I also enjoy that there are many different clubs and activities to do for extracurriculars! I would definitely like to see the menu at lunch change. Also, I would love to have more fun events!

When I transferred over to Raytown South I was in a rough position. I was nervous because I didn't have any friends and everyone was new to me. In 3 and a half years being here I have made many friends. Two in particular are going to be my life long friends. The staff are always wanting to help and are always there to support you with whatever your challenges may be.
It's a great time remembering all the time I spent in the school and the amount that my teachers impacted me through it. It wasn't the best school in the world, but the teachers always do their best with the resources they are given.
What I like about Raytown South High school is that you can fun there. When you learn the teachers make it fun to do.
Raytown South High school is good. The teaching methods are very easy for me, but it's the fact that they sometimes don't have everything together. They plan things late, like scheduling for schools to be canceled or sport practices and changing of games. Other than that, the teachers are nice and very organized when teaching students and making sure they're able to graduate in the near future.
There's an activity, sport, or club for everyone. Despite its bad reputation the school environment is very fun and friendly.
I loved attending this school. I made so many great memories with my friends within my 4 years of being at RSHS. I joined extracurriculars, went to games, went on field trips, the assemblies and it made me enjoy my time even more. Only bad thing is they don’t have a lot of advanced classes such as a wide variety of Dual Credit and no IB class opportunities. Then there is also no good curriculum to help for getting good ACT scores.
School needs to be less fixed on kids being too comfortable and more on the food given on a daily basis. Kids need better food during those years
Poor teaching and sanitation. There is little opportunity to grow due to the teachers that do care for their students and the athletic programs/clubs are great too.
Raytown South High School provided students with only a few teachers that actually cared about the education and overall mental health of students. I recommend making the school less of a violent atmosphere and focus more on students futures.
