Throughout the four years of my experience, I have witnessed nothing but the school progressively getting worse. Teachers do not actually grade work, they base grades off of completion. Which is what made graduating, such an easy thing. I would definitely love to see more class room observing go into affect. That way teachers are able to get not only disciplined for their actions, but better training. Not only is it the teachers and how they teach, but I would love to see those who are more on the academic side get just as much recognition as athletes.

Raytown South High is probably one of the few schools where you wouldn't face discrimination by race, ethnicity, gender, orientation, or "undesireable looks". Still, everyone judges on character and there is plenty of gossip just like anywhere in the world. The food would not be approved by Gordon Ramsey---ever. Whatever the reason for its' poor quality, that should be an easy fix if anyone was willing to make the improvement.
More importantly, the academics vary widely. There are teachers who makes their subject interesting but their ability to connect with students personally. Most are willing to help whenever you ask and not too intimidating to speak with one-on-one.
As for the others, they need to change their method entirely---an easy feat that can be done by adding energy to their own character. Some teachers have unproductive ideas for class discipline. In most schools, mentoring and disciplinary methods needs to change. It is improving in general, but not fast enough.
I like how you never see bullying. There are alot of jokes but nobody is ever seriously bullying anyone. The school is also very diverse. I wish students would care more about their education over all, not everyone but some of the students are not very dedicated to their grades and they can be disrespectful to teachers because of it. I know everyone isnt going to be dedicated no matter where you go but I feel as if that should be something to achieve, to be in a school where everyone wants to learn; where everyone chooses to learn.
