What I liked about Rayne High School was the amount of acceptence from other students and teachers that are friendly and willing to help other students who are struggling. What I would like to see change is the cleanliness of the bathrooms and better healthier lunches for all.
I loved a number of staff members here ( teachers and secretaries) but some teachers were extremely rude and even made fun of students . All in all is a decent school .
Rayne High school was an interesting experience. I felt welcomed and people were nice. I would like to see more diversity in this school. The people at Rayne High were not as interesting and bold as other kids at my old school so that disappointed me. Overall, Rayne High made me feel welcome and I did better here academically.
I loved Rayne High. The teachers care about the student and try their best to educate. I wish the students would have more school spirit and participate in activities around campus. I would also like more teachers to be hired and cleaner conditions for the school. The campus needs some renovations and more technology accessible to the student.
Rayne High offers a good curriculum and a good amount of opportunity in the form of extracurricular activities for its size. What I enjoy most is the friendships you can make here at the school between your peers and the teachers themselves. It has a nice campus, and although it could use some renovations it is charmingly historical, dating back to FDR's notorious New Deal. It's the people here that I cherish the most, and with a student body leaning on the lesser it's nice to be able to recognize the majority of your classmates. The community here is tight-knit, and it comes with its own advantages as compared to schools with thousands of students. Less walking around campus, more familiar faces, things that I'm all grateful that Rayne High provides. Most of the students can share their experiences and guide those in the lower grades since we share the majority of the same teachers. Many times I degrade Rayne for it's lack of many things, but I do appreciate what it has already.
Everyone is so welcoming. The atmosphere is so wonderful and full of excitement. They always keep their students engaged with learning and the participation in being present for school. Nothing is ever boring at Rayne High.
I love Rayne High I have had so many opportunities and great memories at Rayne High. Rayne High has a great education program and overall a great environment .
I transferred from Notre Dame High School in Crowley, La to Rayne High School in Rayne, La my junior year of high school. Rayne high is a much better academic school than any other school around them. The teachers and administration cares about their students future and sets them up to succeed in college level courses and in life.
My high school is a very open place. Every Friday during football season we get to dress up accordingly to the theme of who we are playing that night. We have many clubs and organizations that allow students to meet new people and have new experiences. One thing that I would change about Rayne High is taking more precautions when we receive school threats. I would take them more seriously, because day by day, they become more surreal.
Rayne High School is an amazing high school. the faculty and staff there are committed to the well-being and education of the students. they are always there to help with academics and any other personal needs a student may have. they encourage goal setting and excellence.
Rayne High School, home of the Mighty Wolves. Also known for it's amazing Band of Pride, among other outstanding activities. When it comes to school sports and club organization, I believe that Rayne High School excels in that department. Those students involved in activities as such, are very determined to succeed. Sadly, these students only make up about 40% of the students here. This makes it very difficult for the school to succeed as a whole. Some teachers are there just because they have to, while few are genuinely concerned and care for our student body. What makes RHS unsafe, in my opinion, is the open floor plan that makes up our school. We have several different buildings, with several different entrances to each.
My overall experience with Rayne High School is very good. The teachers are very helpful and the staff is welcoming. I like how Rayne High offers dual-enrollment classes through LSUE. I love their sports and arts programs- they really give students a chance to express themselves and they provide a very helpful place for students to have an outlet from their daily lives in most cases. The school is very diverse and has a lot of parents involved in the overall functioning of the school. In my opinion, Rayne High is a good school, with a few flaws, like every other school.
I would say Rayne High School is pretty average when compared to other schools in most aspects for example academics, sports, teachers, clubs and activities.
I would like to see Rayne High have more math classes. I took two maths in my sophomore year and did not have another one to take my Senior year. They do offer dual enrollment for English and Math. There are many clubs at Rayne High and many are involved in what the schools do but some are not very active. The sports program is very good. Our coaches show interest in what they are doing to help our youth strive to be better. The administration is very good. The principal is always walking around to make sure students act properly and encourages the students to do the right thing. Rayne High has taught me to be a better person and to be a leader.
I absolutely loved going to this school. I would not have spent my four years anywhere else. The teachers were wonderful, I enjoyed the subjects and my classmates were great peers. I don't have any complaints about this school.
Rayne High is an amazing school that goes above and beyond to help each and every student. It has an amazing learning environment created to help students succeed. It is a great school and has a safe, fun feel to it. Teachers at Rayne High are devoted to pushing their students and the administration works extremely hard to keep our school safe.
The teachers and faculty were top notch, especially in comparison to other local public schools. I wouldn't have found my career path without some of the teachers that counseled me at Rayne High.
