Throughout the past four years, I'd say that Raymore-Peculiar is averagely average. The instructors, with a few exceptions, are largely fine. The real tragedy with the institution is the building's condition and maintenance issues. Over the past four years, while the building has been "renovated" there are still many issues regarding HVAC systems, parking lot maintenance, broken bathroom stalls, and an undersupply of custodial staff.
In addition, while the administration sits in their new offices stocked with resources and everything at their fingertips, the students are stuck in windowless classrooms that often don't have enough books, or papers, or etc.

They have some amazing teachers. A ton actually, that really care about their students and making a difference and I love that about that school. However, raypec has a lot of favoritism and it’s very obvious. I think they should work on following through when they say they care about everyone. Other than that, I think the school is great. Of course there are things I didn’t mention but not all schools are perfect and as long as they are trying to improve, that’s all that matters
Raymore Peculiar High School offers a variety of advanced classes for their students to take allowing them to achieve better grades, challenge themselves, and learn more about topics that interest their students. One thing, in particular, I would like to see improve in the school district would be the ability for the student to become more involved in the school and have the ability to choose more of the things they want.
