I have been a student at Raymore-Peculiar High School for 4 years. From my personal experience, I have never had any d major difficulties involving teachers, counselors, and other staff members. I feel this school is incredibly inclusive by showing immense effort of connecting with the students. Staff members at Ray-Pec High always encourage students to join clubs or participate in any school activity. Apart from extracurriculars, many teachers have shown great effort towards helping students improve their academic performance. Ray-Pec offers many opportunities for students to improve their grades, including: after-school tutoring, prep classes, academic seminars, postgraduate assistance, and the monthly check-up from your counselor. Apart from the academic opportunities Ray-Pec has to offer, teachers have been showing incredible work ethic to helping their students when needed the most. Many teachers I know offer to come in early in the morning or stay late after school to help.
I very much enjoyed my time as a student at Ray-Pec! I felt safe and comfortable in the learning environment and made lots of friends during my high school career. Ray-Pec takes pride in their academics/extracurriculars and holds their students to high standards. They provide a numerous amount of extra curricular activities so every student can find something to be involved in. My favorite memories from my time at Ray-Pec was Friday night football games, school plays, and pep assemblies! The Raymore-Peculiar school district is a rapidly growing school district and a great community to enroll your students in!
I loved Ray-Pec! It's very diverse with a great performing arts department! I'm about to graduate in May and I'm very excited about my next chapter. I've done a lot at Ray-Pec and feel like it has equipped me for college very well. I will be continuing my studies at a performing arts conservatory in New York and owe it all to the teachers and community at Ray-Pec High School.
