Raymond High School is rated one of the lowest high school in the state of New Hampshire. My experience agrees with that. Some of the teachers are there to help the students and help them grow academically, while others are there to just get paid and hand out work.
I loved the music program and how most teachers genuinely care about the students. We are a small enough to know everyone but sometimes that can be a downside. Overall good experience
There are several things to like about Raymond High School but there are several things to dislike about it. Some things that I liked about this school was that it was very easy to get close to the teachers and it was also a welcoming community. Raymond High School also had its faults. First, the teachers play favorites and do not try to hide it. They will single out the students who they dislike and won't put any efforts into helping them with what they need. The teachers also give students work that they don't know how to do, will continuously say they know how to do it, ignoring their students pleas to help them with their problems. Lastly, the school board does not listen to students requests on how to improve the school and bases everything off of a budget.
It is a very small school, so students will always know their teachers and classmates. With every school, there is always good and bad teachers, but for a smaller school, RHS does a nice job hiring good teachers. Students are overlooked because of the school size and the school ranking.
Grew up in 1st Grade to 12th grade. Had a strong band music early on but got much smaller. Reduced Foreign Language Classes . Sports seemed to go by the sidelines more and more later on.
This is a great school. The teachers care about the mental health of the students and clearly show this by providing not only resources, but also just being there to talk if needed.
I loved RHS because it taught me the skills I needed to succeed, however many people don't like it because they're lazy and do not want to put in the time and effort into school anymore.
Raymond High School is what you make of it. Since it is a small school you are able to have a big impact on the school if you choose to. It is a fantastic and close community, you will be sure to make memories that will last a lifetime. In terms of education, the school is average. Some teachers here will tell you that that Raymond isn't their dream school to work at. You will experience some passionate teachers and others who sit behind there desk with no lessons all year.
This school is very welcoming to new students, which was extremely helpful when I moved here. The teachers are also very friendly and are willing to answer any questions.
It's a pretty good school. There are a handful of very good teachers. Quite a few of them are very average.
The teachers, aids, and staff were all extremely helpful and welcoming. I also enjoyed the school itself, where it was small enough to get around quick, but large enough to feel separated from everyone of your class. If I would I have to change something, I'd change the scheduling of the classes and the time of the lunch period.
It's your average small town school. It has a few really amazing teachers, and some not so great ones. There are some great opportunities I've had access to through the school. It's nice, but it's far from the best.
Raymond high school is a small school, so everyone Kind of knows who everyone is. The teacher help you in anyway they can. They go above and beyond to try to help you understand a concept that you are learning.
Raymond High School is like a second home to me, and I'm going to be so sad to graduate and leave. We are a small, close community, and sort of like a family.
Raymond high school is an outgoing and fun school. They helped me find ways to work harder be able to achieve my goals, they are helping me find colleges even though i am a Junior. When i need help they help me understand things better the teacher are tick but that helps us to learn what the real world will be live when we are no longer in school. they tell us to follow our dreams because any thing is possibles.
I like how clean and nice the colors all are. It's very clean cut. I like how easy it is to navigate it, college applications and scholarships are so complicated so it's nice to see this, a website that is so easy.
High school is what you make of it of course so it is not a horrible school but they do have changes they could make for sure.
