Raymond high school is a very great school to attend. I have had a wonderful experience during my time at Raymond. I have learned and accomplished a lot of things while I were enrolled at raymond.
Raymond High School is a small town school with a big city feel. The school really thrives because of the close-knit community. The community steps in whenever the school is in need. For example, during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic the community came together and provided the students with masks other necessities in order for learning to continue.
Raymond high school is Great School. Teachers and students are very helpful. Big sports school well basketball. Would ask to help other sports better
I love my school. It is a second home. It is a place where you don’t have to worry about your safety of your well being. There are many people at my school that will serve as a role model or parent figure while you’re at school. We are at school more than we are at home, and school should be a place where we can express ourselves and feel loved. Raymond is a great example. From the principals all the way down to the janitors every one is appreciated and gives out appreciation.
I've had a great experience with Raymond High School. There are a lot of great things and opportunities here. Although with so many greats things here there could be a few changes to make it even better.
I would like the curriculum to change. Raymond high needs to offer more educational classes & sports.
Raymond is a small place. Our high school has roughly 500 people classifying as a 4A school in Mississippi. Not to long ago did we finish our new state of the art facility. This facility includes a basketball gym, a new auditorium, but most importantly a new home. The changes this school is making are great for the future be we need some changes to be made now. Changes such as better college preparation and overall life preparation.
The administrative staff and teachers are great. However, the District does not provide enough courses to prepare the students for the college or university of their choice. This puts the students at a disadvantage. They deserve more college-ready prep courses to prepare them for more than a trade.
As a student of Raymond High School, I have found the people to be the best part. I will be honest and say that the school itself is below average and has room for improvement, but the school is doing what it can to improve. I believe that it will soon be a school to be proud of.
My experience at Raymond High School is amazing. The teachers and staff at this school is really nice. They care about the well-being and safety of their students. The teachers that are at the school always make sure that their students have everything they need to be successful and they make sure their students understand what is being taught.
The teachers are very nice and caring. I've learned so much since I've been there. It is a highly recommended school.
My experience at Raymond High School was not at all what I pictured high school to be. There was barely any opportunities to take college, AP, and honors classes. My school rarely did any fun activities, like pep rallies and field trips. Even with playing sports, there was not an opportunity to receive a scholarship. My school did a poor job at making a school with diverse kids feel comfortable. There was countless threats made to the school and I did not feel as though me and others were protected by administration and the police. It was overall a very unfortunate experience me to spend three years there.
I really liked most of the teachers, because they made coming to school interesting and fun. I didn't like how unprepared the school was with certain things, and I especially didn't like how rude a couple of the people at the front desk were.
I like about Raymond High School is the teachers and principal gone always stay on you. They want better for us. The teachers make sure they get us ready for the real world. What I would to see change are they need to stop taking ACT and just take the GPA. They need to let the senior who do not have no classes go home earlier.
I am currently a Junior at Raymond, and in all honesty, I hate it. The school has no Ranger spirit. It seems dead around here. The administrators do not let us have any kind of fun, and they treat us as if we are inmates. I do no recommend this school. The only memories you'll leave here with will most likely be based on your peers, not the school activities. The athletic department is the only positive thing that I can think of. They do not care about their students at all. They fail to prepare you for college, and if you aren't knowledgeable, Senior year will be hell when it comes down to ensuring that you have everything ready for graduation. The food is TERRIBLE.
I like the sports at Raymond high school,I like the clubs and the art classes,And I also like the team spirit of the sports. And I also want some things to change like the food, more things to do, more free time.
The culture at my school should be changed. No one has school spirit the kids are always dosing the school and never have anything good to say about it. However, my experience there has been amazing. Even though the school is very small there is no other place I would rather be. Our school average ACT score is only a 16, but that does not mean there are not any smart kids at our school. However, all the smart kids can not carry the weight of the whole school. In addition, the principle, one of the best in Hinds County, is doing everything in his power to improve this. He has installed tutoring programs, act jumpstart , and act boot camps. I know i’m just a couple years Raymond would be considered one of the better schools.
