As a student of Raymond High School, I have found the people to be the best part. I will be honest and say that the school itself is below average and has room for improvement, but the school is doing what it can to improve. I believe that it will soon be a school to be proud of.
What I like about Raymond High School is that it has a vocational center to provide secondary education,it is one of the few schools in Mississippi that offer these type of programs to students, though I would like to see more funding to be put into better technology and resources for the students and teachers to use.Raymond High School also has great teachers and staff members and a low student to faculty ratio.
My experience at Raymond High School is amazing. The teachers and staff at this school is really nice. They care about the well-being and safety of their students. The teachers that are at the school always make sure that their students have everything they need to be successful and they make sure their students understand what is being taught.
The teachers are very nice and caring. I've learned so much since I've been there. It is a highly recommended school.
My experience at Raymond High School was not at all what I pictured high school to be. There was barely any opportunities to take college, AP, and honors classes. My school rarely did any fun activities, like pep rallies and field trips. Even with playing sports, there was not an opportunity to receive a scholarship. My school did a poor job at making a school with diverse kids feel comfortable. There was countless threats made to the school and I did not feel as though me and others were protected by administration and the police. It was overall a very unfortunate experience me to spend three years there.
My experience at Raymond High School was great I enjoyed singing in the choir going to the games and sing the national anthem. Raymond provides safety for there students like no otter they care for there students as well as faculty and staffs. I will miss being there But we must know that all good things come to and end and then new chapter of life starts. The teach us the three Rs and that’s the to be respectful responsible and ready that I can say we do have .
I like about Raymond High School is the teachers and principal gone always stay on you. They want better for us. The teachers make sure they get us ready for the real world. What I would to see change are they need to stop taking ACT and just take the GPA. They need to let the senior who do not have no classes go home earlier.
I am currently a Junior at Raymond, and in all honesty, I hate it. The school has no Ranger spirit. It seems dead around here. The administrators do not let us have any kind of fun, and they treat us as if we are inmates. I do no recommend this school. The only memories you'll leave here with will most likely be based on your peers, not the school activities. The athletic department is the only positive thing that I can think of. They do not care about their students at all. They fail to prepare you for college, and if you aren't knowledgeable, Senior year will be hell when it comes down to ensuring that you have everything ready for graduation. The food is TERRIBLE.
I like the sports at Raymond high school,I like the clubs and the art classes,And I also like the team spirit of the sports. And I also want some things to change like the food, more things to do, more free time.
I personally love Raymond High School and had a great time there. I like that Raymond has a great staff and the teachers are amazing. The principle is pretty unfair but other than that the office is full of great and respectful people. The teachers make sure you can make the best grades possible if you show you want to be there. If you do not want to be there, they do not care at all. The coaches are absolutely amazing and will make sure you have everything done from being at school and being dressed correctly, being positive, making a good ACT score, and make sure you have everything to play at the next level. The cafeteria ladies are great and cook amazing food. There are two things I would like to to see change and that that would be an increase of all race and the school be like a second home to everybody.
The school is very run down but the people within the building are very kind. There are a considerable amount of teachers who are just here for the paycheck and summers off but there are also a lot of teachers who go above and beyond to see students succeed and do great in life. The courses aren't usually terribly difficult. You can easily meet all your graduation requirements early.
I like the fact that it gives me a chance to learn things independently, on my own. But I would like to see the administrators change their attitudes towards the students. Also, the food could be better and so could the counseling department. The school, as a whole, isn’t really fun, so we as students have to make it fun ourselves. But overall, it’s just an average school. It could be worse, I guess.
I love everything about my school,, my peers, teachers and staff, they are really respectful, the only one thing i will change is the school hours
I love how Raymond High attempts to be student-led and always aims to change for the better every single school year. The students are very friendly and they don't mind getting to know each other and helping out one another in and outside of schools. The majority of the teachers stay after school to make sure that everyone understands and gets the help they deserve.
My experience with Raymond High School has been great so far. As I approached the end of the first semester, I have been able to gain a family like bond from the students and staff. Although there are many positives to Raymond High School, I cannot present this review as if RHS has no flaws. Like every school, Raymond High School has problems with organization at times. In my opinion, the most positive part of Raymond High School is that the school is composed of students who ultimately love one another. Bullying at Raymond High School is slim to none. Teachers at Raymond High School value the wellbeing as well as the education of everyone of their students. I decided to joined the Raymond family my senior year, and I must say that it has been, by far, the best academic decision of my life.
Raymond High School has left me with a lifetime of memories. The classes and opportunities here are abundant, allowing students to begin career paths as soon as possible. The teachers here are great, and I've made friends to stay. My school is great and I take pride in being a Ranger!
I like about it is the environment. The student are well behaved and dedicated for success. Raymond High School overall school spirit is good and well-organized.
