Ravenwood is a great place to go to school! Everyone is so nice, and the school itself is always clean and stocked with top of the line equipment and technology. The school spirit is very strong and everyone gets involved in rooting for the sports teams. The cafeteria has many different options for eating lunch, and if you don't like anything that is being sold in the cafeteria then you can go to the Raptor Coffee Shop and get a coffee or a choice of one of the various snack items that they have. If you want to by Ravenwood clothing, then you can visit the Ravenwood Retail Store and buy their top of the line merchandise for great prices. Overall the school is amazing, with minor negatives being the extremely strict administration and minor overcrowding.
Review Ravenwood High School
The PTO at Ravenwood High school is absolutely outstanding! Our PTO president (Janine Hopkins) is organized, energized, passionate, a hard worker and great fundraiser! They keep the school running and working to obtain the school's best. The parents are very engaged in all areas of the school and we have plenty of volunteers, but there is no pressure in feeling that you have to volunteer.

In some extra-curricular areas, such as theatre, there seems to be a favoritism of kids whose parents often volunteer, but that is probably due more to the fact it is not greatly supported by the school. There are also a couple of parents who are overly involved and hurt their children's education and morphing there child's idea of how the real world is by trying to make special exceptions for their child, but for the most part the parents are great and are striving to better all of the students education.
Everyone in our school is approachable and kind, and it's easy to find friends here. Also, almost every student is applied in their schoolwork - you would be hard pressed to find a student that isn't involved and studious. We also have excellent athletics - the best football team in the state last year! - and students are generally very involved in athletics here as well. There is also a lot of support for arts here, and the theater team puts together an amazing play/musical twice a year that blows everyone away every single time. Overall, it's an awesome school that has a place for everyone.
