Ravenwood is a very pretty school with a large campus. Ravenwood has two football fields, a baseball field, tennis courts, and more than one field for soccer and lacrosse; obviously, sports are a priority at this school. The school also has multiple AP classes available to students. I was a able to take as many AP classes as I wanted! Additionally, all of the AP teachers have very high student pass rates for the AP exams. Ravenwood also has many organizations and clubs students can participate in. Ravenwood has a high average ACT score of about 27 compared to other schools in the county. My one problem with Ravenwood is that it is clear that students who are more involved in school activities are more valued to administrators. I believe this is unfair because activities outside of school should be honored just as much as school activities.

I loved my time at Ravenwood! I was extremely involved all throughout high school and have kept all the friends I made! Great academics, and college has been so much easier, because I was so prepared. There is the traditional cliques of high school, but if you can get past that and the “Brentwood bubble” it is a great school and you will make lots of friends from different backgrounds. My favorite part of high school was my friends, like it is for most kids. I was very involved in marching band, color guard, and church activities outside of school. Getting involved is the best way to make friends and stick out to your teachers! It is a hard school, and you are pushed academically, but it teaches you about time management, being nice to others, and not being afraid to go for what you want!
My experience at Ravenwood High School was very unique. I came during my sophomore year in High School and it was a place that I could definitely call my "home." Some of the friends that I made there are some of my best friends now and will continue on to be some of my best friends! The academic and rigor at this school are defiantly high, because of the work and exceptions that the school and school district as for you. Williamson County Schools definitely are known for their academic rigor across the nation. The school definitely gets you college ready and helped you every step of the way in the process.
