My experience at Ravenswood High School was one that I wish most students had tbe opportunity to have. Most kids dread going to school, but Ravenswood offers a very friendly and caring atmosphere and each teacher will take one on one time with you if necessary. The teachers really care for the students and strive for success! Many AP and dual credit options are available as well. Many Athletics and musical activities are also available for students to participate in. Overall, good teachers, many things to get involved with, and just an over great atmosphere to get an education.
My school is very unique I'd say it's not the best but also not the worse. To be honest I'd say that our school would be 1000x better if we had more funding for space, clubs, and extracurricular activities. We have a very good English and Sci department all around. However, I'd say we're lacking in our Math department and our Florigen language department isn't even a thing even though it's so crucial to have and when we do have it it's only for Spanish and doesn't add other options such as "French, German, Mandarin, Greek, or etc"
Overall, Ravenswood High is a good school. Most teachers are fantastic at their job by keeping their students engaged and their interest piqued. Though Ravenswood does not have a racially diversity, we are taught to accept everyone. I hope future generations will enjoy this school as much as I did.
