The teachers are nice, and it’s never boring they’re always having fun assemblies and pep rally’s. They are great at choosing what class to put students in based on the educational level compared to that year they went to school. Bullying is rare and everyone gets along and fits in there’s no one with no friends everyone talks to anyone. They don’t let you give up and will keep pushing and helping you to not give up on your fate or goals. Ravenna High was great choice and a great school surrounded with happiness , I wouldn’t want to have went to high school anywhere else!
I'm a graduate of RHS of spring 2021, my experience was short but one I'm happy I was able to accomplish. I made two really good friends that I continue to communicate with even after high school. I'm a freshman at KSU majoring in psychology; I have been considering adding a minor in art to hopefully do more hands on sensory therapy.
Ravenna is a sub-par school district. Some teachers really care but most are just there because its a job that pays. They don't care much about fine arts, acting, choir, or band. They have to fight for every penny they get, even though they can spend ridiculous amounts of money to keep our football field blue. The food is alright, and the cafeteria cooks seem to care more than the teachers. Most of the textbooks are from the 1990's and are broken down. On top of all of that, you learn no life skills. Ravenna doesn't prepare you for the real world. It's not surprising that they're ranked one of the worst schools in the state.
