The culture team needs to stop playing to much. Because the students always come back to the classroom that they were distracting the class. And they are not outside in the morning when students are coming in and it is crazy out there.
Staff are well connected to students and a lot of support is provided to students in need! Good academic teachings as well.
Rauner College Prep is outstanding pushes and guides its students toward success.I believe attending Rauner College Prep was the best decision for me, and the support there is outstanding as well. They make an effort to make the school as diverse as they can, and they welcome everyone who enters the building.
I like how small the school is, you really get to connect with the teachers. One thing that i would change would have to be how the school reacts to problems with in the school
I liked that they take into consideration student voices and they really care about our opinions. We wanted to change the dress code for more expression and they granted us an amazingly reasonable dress code. They prepare us for college and we become more than ready.
Rauner does a really good job at prioritizing college from the first moment you step foot into the school. It is a small school and is beneficial because you have more opportunities to have 1 on 1s with the teachers, you're more likely to get noticed, you're able to get the help and support you need. They offer more than enough help and support to get to where you need to be.
What I like about Rauner is how small the school is. Everyone knows one another and the teachers make the students feel welcome and heard. Becoming a senior at Rauner is very fun. My counselor and advisor are always putting a smile on my face and checking up on me. One thing I enjoy at Rauner is spirit weeks. We had one for the independence of Mexico, senior week, and we will soon have one for Black History Month. Rauner is very good at incorporating culture within the school. They make a lot of effort to make the students feel safe and let them know they have a voice within the school.
Rauner College Prep was a small high school with not that many resources readily available to students. However, the staff really cared about their jobs and were passionate about making sure that every student was college ready.
The teachers are amazing. I transferred to Rauner my last two years of highschool and have recently since graduated from there. I’ve never felt more cared about on an individual level or more motivated to succeed. The AP course offerings they have are extremely beneficial to your transcript when it comes time to apply to college and the college counselors are second to none. They walked me through every step of the college process and make sure each and every student gets the assistance and 1 on 1 help they and their families need. Love this school, staff, teachers, and value the friendships made.
Rauner College Prep is a pretty good school. The teachers are hard working and they show that they truly care for their students. But there is always room for improvement. At Rauner there is sometimes racial tension between students.
The teachers really care about the students and try their best to make sure that they learn as much as possible and have a successful future.
Rauner is a great High school! I transferred from a horrible school to Rauner for my Junior year. The teachers are all friendly and they all care about you. Everyone is supportive and the schools makes sure to point out every culture.
The environment of Rauner is one of a tight-knit community of individuals who are unsure of each other as well as themselves, but everyone is willing to push each other along for the better. A student is not afraid to help their peers, it truly feels like everyone loves each other and hopes for the best.
The one thing I can take away from Rauner college prep is the people. There support system is amazing. They make you feel like your family and they will always be there for you.
I Really loved the environment that the teachers made and a safe space that they made however the student population is little big for such a confined space.
The way of correcting students when one did something wrong wasn't good at all based on the excises that in college or university that one went they wouldn't tolerate such behavior, while in reality some professors care if you come late to class or not. Some professors care what you wearing to class that might make a problem for others education. In that school if the teachers catch you with chewing a gum in class you would earn 4 demerits that is a automatic detention. If you come late to class you would received demerits depending how minutes late you are to the class. The school has student rules that all student must wear an uniform, because it would distract others student learning experience if one did not had a uniform, and wear normal clothes. if we are talking about discipline it makes the life of the students hard, and those are just of the few rules it has.
It's a nice school, a great environment the school its not that big but it's great, nice teachers and good advisors.
