Tucked into a historic Miami Beach neighborhood, Hebrew Academy offers a comprehensive college and yeshiva preparatory education that embraces Zionism, and utilizes STEAM, project based, and blended learning. 100% of the graduates attend college and most partake in a gap year in Israel. Curriculum is tailored to the individual child. The campus boasts full amenities including a six hundred seat auditorium, new gymnasium, on-site catering, computer laboratories, has just broken ground for a new middle and high school complex, and more. A full array of extracurricular activities and 27 athletic teams offers something for everyone. Scholarships are available for ages 2 and older and the school works with families to make tuition affordable. As the mother of a graduate I was happy to know that my child was over prepared for his first years in college. It's small enough that your child receives individual attention but big enough that students have many students to befriend.

If you are interested in playing basketball in high school, then go to Hebrew Academy--the school celebrates its basketball players. Unfortunately, if you are passionate about something other than basketball, volleyball, or flag football, then Hebrew Academy is likely not the school for you. Due to their lack of club variety, if you have a novel idea for a club, you can acquire a leadership position by starting one. However, it will likely be hard to garner much interest and support for that club. If you are a serious student at Hebrew Academy and want to take a variety of APs, then get used to FLVS--you will have to take AP classes online due to Hebrew Academy's shortage of good classes. If you want to go to Hebrew Academy: good luck!
Hebrew Academy is a warm and nurturing Modern Orthodox Dati Tziyoni environment for both the attending students and their families. We serve children from infancy-high school and pride ourselves in both the Judaic and General Studies areas. The academics, extensive sports programming and other extra-curricular activities are excellent and very well-organized. I'm thrilled to be a part of the Hebrew Academy family.
