Ransom has a great environment. It’s very competitive, but it feels like teachers actually care about you and your success. Most of the time, they’ll be ok with giving you extensions when you need them and so on. The PE program is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. The bay studies classes are outstanding (there’s nothing quite like doing yoga on a paddle board at sunrise) and the 9th grade camping trip in the Everglades is unforgettable. Math science and history classes are outstanding, but I wish there was more options in what English classes to take during the first three years of high school

Truly one of America’s greatest schools. This special community molds lives of meaning. We actually relocated *BACK* to Miami, and re-worked our careers, when our oldest child was accepted for admission so she could attend Ransom Everglades. It's reputation for rigorous and demanding academics is very justified, but the caliber of teaching and the quality of support resources are limitless, and most students -- who themselves are self-selecting; they apply after preparing and taking the SSAT, they've had exemplary grades in prior schools, they interview as part of the admissions process, and they know beforehand what they are getting themselves into -- well, its not overstating it to say that students thrive here. For decades, graduates have become prepared to achieve not only at the great universities of the world, but also throughout their lives.
Besides the rigorous academic curriculum that challenge the students in many aspects of their learning, Ransom Everglades has a diverse student body that make the learning, social experience more meaningful. The faculty and administrators are one of a kind, their experience and knowledge take to learning process to a very high level and the students are able to have a wonderful education. The legacy of Paul Ransom is key when it comes to prepare the kids to give back to the world more than they take and be well rounded adults.
